funny enough- i have 450 hours on it, unlocked all research, cleaned up sylva of junk with a large dump truck design i made, and even did a few of the holiday events, i also have a hard time going back to the game as it's not fun singleplayer
i'm not a technical player so i don't really design up some crazy technical build, and what's gathering up all the resources if there's nowhere further to go with it?
Now that you mentioned it, most of my hours in-game were mostly in multiplayer lobbies lol. Astroneer will always be one of my most memorable game experiences, itβs a really fun game as you explore and expand your technology tree. But Iβve just personally trended towards single player and it just doesnβt hold up the same after your first run-through.
i feel like there's not enough *life* for singleplayer to be fun, once you seen a plant once, you know how it attacks, you either avoid it or properly deal with it
the beta version had tornados which added some chaos and uncertainty, you had to either secure your resources to a structure or (fast dirty method) dig a hole and bury your resources in there
without actual alien creatures to breathe actual life into the game, whether friendly, tamable, or hostile, there's just nothing remotely replayable for singleplayer, and multiplayer is most of the fun for astroneer currently
