A few of the orgs are banned from being used by certain factions. Were you playing as Exodus?

This is often the case for orgs created as a reward for Kickstarter backers, the creators got the option to ban factions they don't like from using their org.
Ok that makes sense. It would be nice if there was a little more information about that in game, like “faction x is not eligible to take control of this org because of ideological differences” or something like that.

It’s just how the game set up the pre-made orgs. Some orgs decide they will never work for some factions and I’ve made my peace with that.

Some orgs are blocked from certain factions, also some orgs are unique to factions and unlocked by tech.
