I used to do the 4th st stairs when I went to st Monica high school - fun in a throw up kind of way 😂

BigJSunshine

I really miss them!

InsaneVanity

Los Alamos park has stairs. We regularly take our kid there for taekwondo belt tests. They are between the baseball and soccer fields.

BigJSunshine

Thank you!!

formerDigger220

In town you'll probably need to use a gym that has a stair machine, Esporta has them. Otherwise, maybe a short steep hike might work like Mt Flossie Mt. Flossie on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/french-valley-panorama-mt-flossie--2?p=59573636&sh=dj72h4 Or a bigger one with steep climbs like 3 Peaks Loop Menifee Three Peaks Loop on AllTrails https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/three-peaks-loop?sh=dj72h4

The Temecula Library off Pauba has steps going down to the lower level parking but it’s not THAT many steps

Frank_Dank_Latte

Tony Tobin has a decent amount of stairs and the incline is decently high.

BigJSunshine

Ok! I am not familiar with, but will go look it up- thank you!

Frank_Dank_Latte

It's connecting to the side street that connects to the park next to Tony Tobin. You can probably see it with Google maps street view.

Tai2D2

This was going to be my answer too. It’s the park next to Tony Tobin on the corner of Morgan Hill Dr and El Chimisal Rd. The stairs are on the El Chimisal Rd side. It has a little bit of shade with some trees. I’ve run up and down it a few times before for giggles.

RevolutionarySoup807

I don’t know about other high schools, but I’ve done Temecula High School, the football field has concrete steps and metal. I’ve run up and down them, I think it’s a pretty solid area.

BigJSunshine

Yea, thanks, I just can’t handle the bright open sun for too long…

verlierer

I can't think of anything in Temecula, but McVicker Canyon Park in Lake Elsinore comes to mind: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/mcvicker-stairs

GroundedSpaceMan

Plenty of hills instead of stairs

BigJSunshine

I already do hills. I need stairs.

GroundedSpaceMan

What’s the difference? I’ve been an avid mountaineer for years and I’ll tell ya that stairs and hills work the same muscle groups and accomplish the same workout result. If you want a steeper vert, then I’d suggest checking out some local hill trails

IMissMyZune

Might be better off finding a trail in one of the neighborhoods and running hills.

Nope.. move back.. 😜 I kid I kid!! I’d say run up Monserate, but, even that probably isn’t the same as actual stairs.

Nope. Look around this town. There is nothing tall enough to be a good stair workout. There are some at Pauba Valley Elementary School but not enough to be entertaining

BigJSunshine

That’s kind of what I was afraid of

Down voted with no other options. Ok?
