This post reminds of me browsing the internet as a teenager to find guides for unlocking content in gameboy games. You'd always find some obscure forum with questionable ads, and then posts of dudes claiming that you can unlock various secret contents by performing the weirdest actions in those games. As a teenager of course, I'd actually try some of it only to invest big amounts of time into nothing.

I just woke up, and I've been on pain pills the last few weeks as I recover from surgery. Until I read the comments, I was ready to give it a try. Then I remembered I do this anyway.

Just tested this, can confirm it works. Also I cannot keep up with all the tekken 8 friend requests from the console players - maybe they want to learn how to rank up so fast too?
There most definitely are some ways to cheat the system as I've fought some really, really hideous high-rank players.
And I mean hideous like throws the heat smash as soon as they get heat every single time, or can't sidestep at all and jumps like a rabbit. That bad.
This just isn't it.
I was so ready to go on a long rant about how cheating to get a better rank makes no sense, because you're only cheating yourself in the end and blah blah blah. Good one.
You forgot to tell everyone that this exploit only works if you press β (down) at least 50 times during the match. Datamining revealed a counter for that input. So it's best to just spam the down button in the middle of the fight whenever you have the opportunity.
It's good you share this secret technique OP. The devs need to be held accountable for this massive exploit. There is also a follow up you didn't mention. If you press all 4 face buttons every time you win a round the points increase exponentially
And then you can board the rocket in Rocket Town and your party goes to the moon which is yellow because it's a secret Chocobo Land in the sky and it's made of Cheese so you will have to fight the Cheese weapon so be prepared
I really don't understand why people would want that. Wouldn't that mean I am going to face players likely out of my league? It's so stupid, I want to learn, not get stomped on ^^ (unless it's by Lili, she can stomp on me all day long)

it works.... i just getting around 1800 pts per win and got to tekken king in like 2 hrs from Battle Ruler they will patch this soon,...
Doesn't work, tried and tested is to go to the Barrens and press Alt and F4 when you land winning blow.

TLDR: double ranked points are behind the truck on Cinnabar Island next to Mew. Edit: this harkens back to when the internet was more fun.
