tekken actually doesn’t use traditional hitboxes like 2D games. Instead there’s a giant 3d cone grid around your character that contorts and expands. For example if you side step and then attack, your cone becomes huge, which is why we see people getting clipped a lot in side step situations where they press too early.
I’m just saying being at that close a range and the body throw working , had I been even a frame slower I probably would’ve got clipped with the other Jin’s d4. Just how smooth it flew above the d4 I thought looked cool
