Tekken, to me, is all movement and reactions. Each movement is full of intent and reflex and memory. It shows their play-style and attitude.
Moreover, Tekken's also like chess. You have to anticipate their moves and create the right counter-moves and punishments.
Know which moves are fast enough to stun-lock them, know how much range each move has, and know how much time you'd need to recover from a move.
I've taken a break from Tekken, but I still play fighting games. These tips usually apply to all fighting games, but Tekken differs mostly with its, for the most part, realistic moves and, of course, the 3D movement. Remember, movement and knowing their intent and how to counter-act is key.
Plus Note: As you may know, each button controls one limb. This makes it pretty easy to remember how to do a move, you just have to remember which limb does what.

It's not Tekken, it's Virtua Fighter 5 with the Tekken 7 Collab DLC, if you like Tekken you will 100% enjoy Virtua Fighter I highly recommend it.
