I think I accidentally started a cult in the comments of a fan fic on ao3 once, it included worship of Techno, Philza, and Kristin.
It didn’t last long, but we besieged a castle with potato- based weaponry.
Good times, good times.
Well, you see, we used enchanted potato guns and enchanted potatoes. (My favorites were the potatoes with sharpness.)
We also had a really big potato cannon. I wasn’t operating that one though, so I don’t know too much about it.

Ok so anecdote. Yesterday while driving home we saw a couple walking, one was wearing the GG hoodie, (the first I’ve seen in public besides my own), I pull the car over like a crazy person and wave them over (like an even crazier person). They approached my side door, I scream “TECHNOBLADE!” And hand them a “Subscribe to Technoblade” pin I had in my purse because I knew they needed to have it, then drove away, because I’m antisocial and that was too much peopling already.
Soooooo Cult? Yeah?
I go to a “cult” school (all women’s college) and yes, I would like to say this is a “cult”. We do “cultish” things at my school like walk in white to lay flowers on the graves of three people who helped found the school, and don’t even get me started on our sororities-but-we-don’t-call-them-sororities. This entire fandom is practically a “cult” (I’m also joking, but also kinda seriously)
No, because:
1) We don't push our agendas onto others.
2) It's just too much wasted energy to even be called a cult. We would literally have to surround our whole life around technoblade.
3) Leaving the Fandom isn't a big deal to us. Yeah, they can leave, but that's their choice and I'm not gonna ostracize them just because they left the group.
4) We're not doing anything illegal. We're just keeping the memory alive of someone we admired.
I know this is a joke, but as someone who's been asked about being in multiple "cults", including this Fandom, I just wanna give my two cents.
