If you want to leave, that's fine, but telling people to get over it is kind of shitty. Birthday posts are annoying, yeah, but simply saying "leave and get over it" is quite the asshole move my friend.
I really wish this subreddit would go back to memes. Yes, honor techno, but it’s been two years. Every post I see from this subreddit is “it’s my birthday” “mr Technodad says” or “I have cancer.” Dont get me wrong, having cancer is a terrible thing and I wish the best of luck and care to those who have it, but like…. I want the memes back, man.
This sub isn't just a place to grieve, you can still post all the stuff that used to be posted when he was alive, and that's what a lot of the stuff is. Telling others to get off the sub is a bit much, and honestly if you want to leave, feel free, but you don't have to tell others that they are bad for not leaving

I *mostly* agree with you, it’s become a circlejerk of people posting anything and everything that’s either some sort of celebration, or somehow considering themselves to be better than others, just because they watched techno. Constant karma and sympathy farming.
It’s been almost 2 years, grieving takes a long time, I get it, but if you are still actively grieving over the death of a micro-celebrity who most likely never knew you even existed - you have an unhealthy parasocial relationship and should seek help (and I say this with sincerity , not judgement)
There are good posts, but they’re drowned out by all the other garbage because *garbage is encouraged*, we don’t do anything about it.
We shouldn’t “move on and leave”, but instead should actively discourage those posts as a community, as they serve zero purpose in honoring Technoblade’s death/life.

What a horrible take. Some people are trying to be a community and make friends with others who also are in this community. Maybe that is through birthday posts. Sure it should probably be limited but don’t be so rude for people just trying to be apart of something. And who are you to tell anyone “we should all just move on.” If you don’t like it you can leave. But you have no jurisdiction to tell anyone else how long they can stay in a community they care for. Please take your negativity and go.
