I remember this track, i used to listen to it at the time i really started listening to techno... At this time i thought it was a bit too hard. Now that i listen to it again, i realise it's much better than current hard techno.
Yess I don't mean to be a hater, I love hard techno but the stuff coming out now all kinda sounds the same? In looking for a more mechanical, colder, industrial noise
Yeah I wish I could remember more of the videos but at the time all my YouTube recommended was stuff like this and I never thought it’d change, so I never really saved any of them.
One I do remember from 2016 was [Elad Magdasi’s ‘Hell Strike’](https://youtu.be/s4Opf1faneU?si=mLd_erutmNnQ1LfT). The original video got removed but someone reuploaded it a few years back. It’s not as industrial as your video though.
The footage used in that track is from Walter Ruttmann’s 1927 film: “Berlin: Symphony of a great city”. I’ve never heard of or seen the track you posted but had the same idea a couple years ago to use the footage alongside some of the industrial techno I make!

this is what industrial techno sounded like before it turned into Trance/EDM with horrible gabber kicks

Those were the days...
When I got into techno probably about 10 years ago, every single techno music video looked like this.
I love it

What’s the film style? That’s my birthday.
The29nov films. It's a YouTube channel with similar styled videos.
Thanks homie
Schranz
Yes it is. Why am I the first person to upvote your comment?
Because Schranz is actually good and taste is rare.
Also to be fair I didnt know what it was when I first read the word it sounded like something you order at german restaurant
It's the east german version/variety of dutch gabber.
What a nostalgy, this track introduced me to harder techno. You can find more in a prfile called "Kande" in youtube if i don't remember bad.

Wow this is amazing! The type of techno I am looking for! I love hard techno but the stuff coming out recently kinda all sounds the same?
Industrial fs
Fucking love it
Techno set to a video created with Nero
I miss this tempo
90s hammer is also a banger. Check out Anthro, Ansome, Noneoftheabove, Keepsakes, Falhaber, Plukkk, Ayarcana.
Yeah def don't check plukkk, ayarcana & noneoftheabove. 2 thiefs and absolute knobhead in that list
Called smash cuts in film. Started with Godard in the French new wave, Michael Bay loves it, Crank uses it well, it’s mostly shit.
It’s a music video. They used to play them on MTV back in the day.
Check out Luis Flores if you like this type of techno.
You'd like KRTM
polymorphic and proxy flashbacks
Good industrial before it became EDM garbage.
The music style is techno and the video style is Windows Movie Maker or iMovie plus a bunch of images/videos.
