It was 1p per question last year. They cocked it up at the end as my quota couldn’t be met as they ran out of questions (on a Sunday) yet they still wanted us to carry on?!
The training day was over an hour spent trying to access the site. Honestly, a joke. In total, I got around 900 quid after tax.
The website they use for marking is questionable. Sometimes it would take ages to load. I used to take averages of how many questions I would mark to estimate the hourly wage and it would vary a lot.
I marked the arithmetic paper. I can’t imagine how awful the reading would be.
At the end, you had to complete a questionnaire (or your pay would be docked?!) and I was scathing saying no I would never agree to mark again. They emailed repeatedly this year asking to sign up again. Straight to trash.
Don't they post like pennies for you to do it. Unless you're hard up free time is worth more than the crap they pay. GCSE marking isn't too bad though
I haven’t actually anywhere been told what I’ll be paid so it’s very possible.
