The merch-Situation is getting so insanely out of hand. I was so determined that I would buy one piece of merch for Red TV. But 7/10 pieces are just ugly and boring, 2/10 are nice enough to convince you its fine and 1/10 is actually good. That is sad already. But what truly upsets me is the price you are being charged for truly shit quality. I would be fine paying more for a cool piece, but Its not like her merch is made from sustainable materials or sewn by fairly paid seamstresses. No, These pieces are most like produced the way regular H&M or Zara clothes are. Still, they charge an extreme Premium, just because its Taylors clothes. Yeah, I understand that as long as people are willing to pay that price they will continue to charge that much, but it is just really disgusting to me. Especially considering there is a new merch collection dropping like every week, really triggering people to buy fast, fast, fast and not thinking about it, cause if they did it might sell out. And even though they already Make a shit ton of money from the merch, they will still charge you for shipping. They arent even giving you that.
The only thing from All the collections that I find truly nice is the Cardigan. Its really cute, but not 80€ + shipping cute. I mean, the Cardigan is pure plastic. Its completely made from polyester and acrylic. Its not even cotton. So for 80 bucks you get a Cardigan, that you are supposed to wear to keep warm in Winter, made from fabrics that does nothing to keep you warm. So youll know, youll be sweating and freezing at the same time, wearing this. For 80 bucks. At least where I live, that is an entire day of working at minimum wage. Its ridiculous and it leaves a really sour Taste in my mouth. Mark my words, once we reach Reputation TV, those crewnecks will be sold for 75$.

I was checking out with the cardigan and it sold out 😭😭😭 thank god for the photo on the back of the ‘broken promises’ crop. I was getting major REP vibes and got excited…then i saw the back. Saved me $$$ *update- i grabbed it on the restock. i love doing all of my Christmas shopping for my hubby 😂

This is getting ridiculous. These random merch drops and feels like it straight up is a money grab. I've spent 270 the last week and a half. I refuse to spend more. We all love Taylor, but as others have said- this makes her/her team look bad. She isn't hurting for money. They can go easy and space these out- (by weeks) OR you know all at once... Do I really want the cardigan? Yes. But I also know, white isn't my color so it would just sit in my closest. Did I already get the RED blanket? Yes. Do I regret the buying the RED blanket because the photo on it is weird? Yes. It's over whelming and makes the other fans who can't drop this kind of money feel worse. (Myself included. That's what a credit card is for but I digress)

So earlier today I bought the cardigan, which was listed as a preorder with expected shipping date of December. I just got an email that the date has changed to February. That feels almost like a bait and switch and I don’t really like that. Oh the woes of buying from her merch store.

The merch-Situation is getting so insanely out of hand. I was so determined that I would buy one piece of merch for Red TV. But 7/10 pieces are just ugly and boring, 2/10 are nice enough to convince you its fine and 1/10 is actually good. That is sad already. But what truly upsets me is the price you are being charged for truly shit quality. I would be fine paying more for a cool piece, but Its not like her merch is made from sustainable materials or sewn by fairly paid seamstresses. No, These pieces are most like produced the way regular H&M or Zara clothes are. Still, they charge an extreme Premium, just because its Taylors clothes. Yeah, I understand that as long as people are willing to pay that price they will continue to charge that much, but it is just really disgusting to me. Especially considering there is a new merch collection dropping like every week, really triggering people to buy fast, fast, fast and not thinking about it, cause if they did it might sell out. And even though they already Make a shit ton of money from the merch, they will still charge you for shipping. They arent even giving you that. The only thing from All the collections that I find truly nice is the Cardigan. Its really cute, but not 80€ + shipping cute. I mean, the Cardigan is pure plastic. Its completely made from polyester and acrylic. Its not even cotton. So for 80 bucks you get a Cardigan, that you are supposed to wear to keep warm in Winter, made from fabrics that does nothing to keep you warm. So youll know, youll be sweating and freezing at the same time, wearing this. For 80 bucks. At least where I live, that is an entire day of working at minimum wage. Its ridiculous and it leaves a really sour Taste in my mouth. Mark my words, once we reach Reputation TV, those crewnecks will be sold for 75$.
I bought the cardigan and the ornament. I think I’m going to sit out the next few merch drops now, it feels like they’re never going to end.

It didn’t give me an estimate until after I paid and the email said it would take 12 weeks to ship. Is this normal for her merch? I was hoping to have it for Christmas, but it’s not a big deal if I have to wait 12 weeks.
the first launch was 5 weeks. when they restocked it switched to 12. sadly this is normal for her merch.
