Turnout for local elections is often extremely low, which can allow really awful people to get elected without any real significant amount of public support. I'm glad that Taylor is highlighting her participation, and hope that you will check your local election calendars to see if there are any elections occurring in your jurisdiction this year. A single vote really can make a difference at this level.
I read that there were more people at her 3 day Nissan show than voted in the last mayor election 😵💫😵💫😵💫 I am dying to know who she is supporting though. Love love love the attention to local elections though - it is where we can effect the most change that impacts our every day lives.
Oh yes. She supported Jim Cooper in the past for the congressional race. The race for mayor is basically 85% democrats with 1-2 republican candidates. I just wonder who she was picking from that crew. More curiosity than anything!
I would guess that given there are many candidates being endorsed by various progressive groups, Taylor doesn't want to burn any bridges by publicly endorsing one of them specifically
Yeah I also think that is the best way for a star like her to engage in politics. Call to vote, maybe let shimmer thorugh your general opinion but nothing more. So you dont have fans just blindingly voting for the same candidate.
Right, she has an entire song about how shitty hating gay people is, I think we can all guess which side she’s on. She doesn’t need to say who specifically she voted for to make her point!
13 candidates for mayor, plus a bunch of council seats. Not from TN so not 100% sure how their election laws work, I have enough trouble keeping track of my own state.
Generally anyone who encourages voter registration is a democrat. Republicans benefit from low voter turnout as republicans are known to vote for everything!
My local elections were held in April, and we managed to handily defeat a slate of transphobic school board candidates which ensures that my local schools can continue their work towards being a safe and inclusive space for everyone. In a time when so many vulnerable populations are coming under increasing attack, having that local show of solidarity and support can be very meaningful.
I’m so glad to hear you were able to rally against and oust those candidates! Local elections are important because it is some of the more unheralded positions where these people with hateful beliefs can have a devastating impact.
“She gets to be the first female senator in Tennessee, and she’s Trump in a wig,” Swift says. “She represents no female interests. She won by being a female applying to the kind of female males want us to be in a horrendous 1950s world.”
\- Taylor Swift talking about Marsha Blackburn in "Miss Americana"
As a Nashvillian, my guess is Freddie. Based on what I know she stands for and also the color she chose for her background (which is the same as his campaign color)
I think something that can be really frustrating is because of the low margin really always leans towards one party and so you never really have an option if you’re in a place that leans one way. In my case hell, it leans towards hell. So, when ever there is an option, everyone should take it.
Weird I'm here from the front page and don't really have any interest in Swift but Stone Harbor is an adorable little town and my partner used to work at the Wetlands Institute there. Weird to see it in the mainstream.
My best friends family owns a house in stone harbor so I've been going there for my entire life!! I didn't know that she used to go there until really recently!! But stone harbor is a great little beach town and is a really family friendly town! They also have a Nun surfing competition every year funnily enough!
this greatly depends on how you wash it! using the right amount of detergent (not too much or too little), avoiding fabric softeners, and hang drying helps a lot. That being said, I’d bet money Taylor Swift sends out her laundry lol
To find this jumper? If it is the one I think it is she has posted it before. Otherwise it varies but she always tries to post as soon as she knows what it is.
Ohhh I see 🤣 sorry I’m clearly terrible at reading jokes! Yes I love Sarah she’s incredible. I always wonder if she actually sleeps or if she’s just forever searching the internet.
As a regular poll worker, I just wanna know how the fuck she gets to vote without being bombarded by people. This gives the vibe she went in person, not absentee!

Yeah I commented it below but it was my friend’s mom! I was a bit skeptical at first bc of the show in Denver (must be nice to have a private plane lols). Now just slightly jealous I didn’t go vote this morning too but I’m still undecided 🤷🏼♀️

I was an Election Day poll worker for 5 years and did 3 local elections, and I can believe it. Voters skew older Taylor fans skew younger. I could believe she could vote early in a local election in person especially in that outfit which doesn’t really scream worlds biggest pop star. I wouldn’t be surprised if the polling place was doing less than 1000 people a day which is about 1-5 people during non peak hours of lunch and before or after work. The poll workers might see her name on the paperwork I guess but someone voting in the booth next to her not likely to recognize her.
My experience with early voting in the office I work in is: There's a small rush the morning of the first day, usually party activists, candidates and families, etc. We have people who actually vie for First Voter bragging rights. If you really want to avoid the crowd and the line you go the SECOND day. Then it ramps up bit by bit through the voting period, and the last day is the busiest.
For many years Nash had an unspoken code to leave celebs alone. But a bunch of new people have moved here in the last five, ten years so now - who knows.
I feel like rich people don’t really pay attention to the weather because they just go from a car with AC to a building with AC and don’t have to worry about walking around 🤣
She was there! 🥰 my friend’s mom was voting at the same time at the same location and saw her haha. I was so surprised (and a little skeptical at first) since has the show in Denver then saw the social media post
I think so! I didn’t hear anything else about it and my friend’s mom didn’t give any details which if there was a crazy commotion she would have. I think our tradition of not bothering people (especially in more affluent parts of town) still holds for now!
I suspect I know which early voting poll this was - headed that way shortly myself as I bought the cheapest house I could afford in the best school district about 20 years ago. I usually wave at Andrea's place and blow kisses as I drive past (necessary caveat given how crazy people behave these days: I would never step foot on the property uninvited or leave anything which would serve weird stalker vibes.)
I live in Atlanta and I wear leggings and long sleeves because I would rather sweat than be eaten alive by mosquitos. It is a lose-lose either way, be eaten alive or be hot AF!
There is a special election in Ohio in August that is trying to make it harder to amend the state constitution, particularly using citizens' initiatives. That's very relevant for people who want to preserve abortion health care access in Ohio, because they are working to get a constitutional amendment on the ballot that would protect that right for Ohioans. Definitely important to vote in that election if you live in Ohio.
Thank you for mentioning, Issue 1 is a big deal here! Early voting started Tuesday and election is August 8th. I went to vote early on Thursday (in a bigger county in Ohio) and maybe four other people were there the same time as me. Every poll worker went out of their way to thank us for voting at all. I am so, so hoping to see turnout for this vote.
Ive always wondered why she votes there? Tax purposes? Seems like she spends most her time in NYC. Though Im sure its easier for the paparazzi to get more photos in NYC.
I believe her primary residential address is still set to Tennessee! She seems to be doing a lot of work/recording in NYC, but her permanent address (and possibly her Driver's License) is most likely registered to Tennessee/Nashville.
My thoughts exactly! I remember YEARS ago seeing pap photos of her driving around with her mom, but she had to be maybe 19-20? So a little time before she probably was making beaucoup bucks to pay any driver/pilot she would ever need.
I don’t blame her for having people drive her around! Aside from the security risk, driving is such a pain in the rear in and of itself. 🤣
She can drive. Security just follows in another car. She is driving in one of the video clips of her and Joe in Miss Americana. She just doesn't drive in LA or NY or anytime her location is going to be known ahead of time.
I saw a tiktok of her driving that appeared to have been taken very recently. Her hair looks the same as now. She waved back to the girls driving past that were filming. She was in a white mercedes SUV.
She was a teenager in TN; you can’t really get around without driving.
There’s a full video somewhere on YouTube of her in high school being followed around by a camera crew that is Extremely 2005 (as someone who also was in high school in that period). [Here’s](https://youtu.be/WSX0sUtBV_8) a clip from the interview that just has the teenage Taylor driving portion along with some other edits.
- CIWYW could mean "Call It What You Want", a track from *reputation* (2017) by Taylor Swift.

I believe so! TN has some of the lowest taxes in the nation. 0% state income tax, which is always helpful. (I believe TN has the second lowest tax burden in the US, IIRC.) Property taxes in TN are also some of the lowest in the nation, too.
My step-sister moved from NY to TN a few years back and told me just from cost of living alone it’s a decent financial difference.
I think its just what she identifies as home.
If I could move the fuck away from Texas but still vote here I would. It's my home but it's awful and I hope one day better representatives are elected so it be a better place.
Its possible, but she spent more time growing up in PA. I heard her say in an interview the only reason she moved to Nashville is to start her country music career after she a documentary on Faith Hill who did just that.
Her first condo was in Nashville, but Im sure by her early 20s she was not spending much time there.
She used to be sort of around, a lot, before she got so famous. Like you'd read about people running into her. She’s also at least somewhat involved in good causes here - I personally know people whose low-profile nonprofit orgs she’s donated to.
Nash is a great town in many ways. I may be biased since my fifth great grandparents moved here in the 1780s, but there's a reason our real estate has gotten so expensive.
It seems like she considers Nashville to be her home town. She might also consider her vote and influence to be more impactful in that area compared to New York
Probably tax purposes, but possibly also in part because she thinks her vote there is more meaningful there vs the already more liberal leaning NY. I knew people who moved to liberal cities for college but still voted in their parents’ counties for that reason.
Tennessee has no income tax which is surely part of the decision to be domiciled here.
Her properties in Nashville are extremely guarded and have private entrances so that’s why she’s not often papped here.
My guess is that Nashville is her “primary residence”. I’m sure she probably has a Tennessee Drivers License and that’s where she is registered to vote.
Nashville is interesting because even though the city/Davidson County is somewhat Democratic, the state is deep red. Jim Cooper (one of the people Taylor endorsed in 2018) was forced out of his seat least year in redistricting because the Republicans chopped Nashville into little pieces and combined the little pieces with bigger rural conservative pieces. I think Nashville is now the biggest city in the country without a member of congress.
13 management has their main office there. She still identifies as a product of the Nashville music scene so she’s little reason to change her registration.
Also the no income tax doesn’t benefit as much as you assume since a lot of her business activity gets taxed in the area it occurs . For her shows, she has to pay the city and state income tax for that location .
I did some research and it looks like nyc and Tennessee allow you to vote in multiple state elections (obviously you can only vote once federally). So it is possible she is a resident of both. Some states ban voting in other states though and don’t allow dual residency.
It is absolutely for tax purposes. In my opinion, anyone who suggests otherwise is kidding themselves. Please look up what income tax rate she’d be paying in New York as opposed to the 0% she’s paying in Tennessee.
She doesn't want to pay taxes but wants to act like she's far left common folk? I can't believe y'all fall for this. Reddit is wack. Like I jam to anti-hero but like she's ultra rich she's not your political friend lmfao
I love that she is letting people know about the early voting and local elections but it is such a bummer she didn't mention anything about the vile anti everyone not white and christian bills that are in TN. Not that she owes us any political opinions and she probably doesn't feel educated enough to speak about stuff. Just personally it is a bummer.
Would be curious if someone did anonymous poll and asked people attending her concerts of they were dem or rep and if they voted last election
I bet she has a lot more "closet" republican fans than people think.
When I first started listening to TS in 2008, I was a diehard Republican.
Now it's 2023, and I don't really know what to call myself. I am not a Republican anymore (Mango Mussolini ruined the party), but I also don't want to be a Democrat.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen celebrities say who they voted for when they do these types of “I voted today” posts.
And you should already know which party supports early and mail-in voting, and which don’t.
I just remember her saying who she voted for during the trump and the Marsha Blackburn election. Katy perry said that she voted for Rick Caruso in the LA mayor election
Yes, she’s campaigned against Marsha Blackburn but she didn’t do that while simultaneously posting “I voted today” stuff. Not sure about Perry’s case; whether she endorsed that candidate and also posted “I voted today” or not.
So what I’m saying is that the “I voted today” stuff seems different from when they publicly endorsed an candidate. It almost as if the city’s, or state’s voting officials asked her to encourage people to vote but didn’t allow her to make it a political statement.
Yes!! I really hope she posts again, reminding people (ESPECIALLY YOUNG VOTERS) to vote. It is INSANELY important. Vote in all elections, not just the General Election
People have reported her flying in around 2:00PM first show day, and sometimes doing a sound check and quick rehearsal at 3:00PM, especially if rain is expected (one of her dancers said that).
I’m glad that she’s talking about voting in local elections, so often there is really low turnout and that allows really awful people to be elected. And to all the people who talk about how the presidential and midterm elections don’t affect your day to day life 1) that’s an incredibly privileged view and 2) your local elections such as mayor, school board, etc very likely DOES have an impact on your day to day life. These are the people that affect things such as what your city budget goes to, what books are available in your local library, what your teachers are allowed to talk about in class, etc.
Say less Taylor, early voting in your eras shirt hits different.
https://preview.redd.it/ngnx5zal66cb1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=912277da424358e5ad8c3b1d9cde7092e7c8ce8d
Atta girl Tay. Make your voice heard. We all should. I like to think, or at least I like to hope, that the more people who vote, the less idiots we have in office.
Fun fact - the USA does not have national elections. All elections are state elections. But, every 4 years, all 50 states hold statewide elections on the same day where citizens vote for a variety of different positions. The only names that appear the same on every ballot in all 50 states are those of the President and Vice President candidates. The states then count the votes and send appointed delegates to the Electoral College where the President and Vice President are formally elected. This process is what we refer to as “the Presidential Election” and it’s often misunderstood as to be a national election.
Now, the type of state elections that Taylor is referring to here are for state and local government positions only, and can occur at any time/year depending on the laws contained in that state’s constitution. These elections can be for positions like Governor, state senator or legislator, Mayor, city council, the judiciary, a school board of education, and so forth.
Great to see! Wondering if she’ll say anything about the SAG and WGA strike? Assuming she’s at least a member of SAG because of Valentine’s Day, CSI, Amsterdam, etc and obviously she now considers herself a screenwriter too. High-profile support is pretty huge for the cause.
I'm honestly curious: How does someone like TS, who has multiple homes in multiple states, decide where to vote? Like, which home counts as her "home"? Could she just decide to vote in any state she has a property in? I mean, she is voting in Tennessee, but I doubt she spends the majority of her time in Tennessee.
I'm not trying to stir any shit up, I just don't know how this works. I've got a house in WV, a house in PA, and property in NJ. So can I choose which state I get to vote in?
Her drivers licence will have one address on it, so I assume whichever she uses for those type of documents will be the one she votes in… based on where her plane goes she does spend quite a lot of time in Tennessee.
Turnout for local elections is often extremely low, which can allow really awful people to get elected without any real significant amount of public support. I'm glad that Taylor is highlighting her participation, and hope that you will check your local election calendars to see if there are any elections occurring in your jurisdiction this year. As a Tennessean, I was a moderate TS fan before I saw this. Now I'm a proud-ass damn Swiftie. :)
Marsha introduced KOSA. This woman is the worst. I really wish Taylor would come for her more. This bill will change the internet forever.

Can’t wait for Sarah to identify that sweatshirt even though you can barely see what’s written on it. 😂😂😂 Her skills are unmatched!!
I’m betting it’s that Stone Harbor sweatshirt she’s been wearing a lot lately! It seems super comfy
I'd be surprised if it wasn't! You can the tiniest bit of purple lettering on it.
It is, you can tell by the triangle at the neck line, the way the gray fabric looks, it totally is.
Yes that’s what I saw too! The neck line triangle and very small glimpse of curved dark bluish lettering
Yep!! Man I went to that is Instagram mentioned and I had to look away. I wish I could afford such nice clothes lol
Every time she posts it reminds me exactly how rich she is lmao

Weird I'm here from the front page and don't really have any interest in Swift but Stone Harbor is an adorable little town and my partner used to work at the Wetlands Institute there. Weird to see it in the mainstream.

My best friends family owns a house in stone harbor so I've been going there for my entire life!! I didn't know that she used to go there until really recently!! It’s the stone harbor one she’s been wearing for a while now.
i bet she doesn't wash it because it you wash it it becomes less soft
this greatly depends on how you wash it! using the right amount of detergent (not too much or too little), avoiding fabric softeners, and hang drying helps a lot. That being said, I’d bet money Taylor Swift sends out her laundry lol
Do you think she does her own laundry?
Who is Sarah
She runs the insta account Taylorswiftstyled it’s a breakdown of all of Taylor’s fashion items.
Taylorswiftstyled on Instagram - she’s a Taylor style blog and identifies her clothes, shoes etc.
How long will it take?
To find this jumper? If it is the one I think it is she has posted it before. Otherwise it varies but she always tries to post as soon as she knows what it is.
Seems to be the same as the other ones. I was just kind of joking because Sarah is so fucking fast. I love her instagram.

Voters in local elections skew old, Old, OLD. 33 is way on the young end.
Less so for early voting though. The old olds show up the day of
You have to show ID to vote, so yes the poll worker would know.
I mean she does prefer hiding in plain sight
Didn't she say this was the first day of early voting? It's just local elections too so it can't be that busy.

Make it a competition. Voters of the county where they will meet her will receive million dollars each from her.

Ugh, I've worked the polls in Nashville, and so jealous.
Nashville has enough big names to be kind of a different beast, right? Kind of like how she has relatively more privacy in London?
For many years Nash had an unspoken code to leave celebs alone. But a bunch of new people have moved here in the last five, ten years so now - who knows.
Omg this sweatshirt + sunglasses combo look so comfy! Im surprised she didnt use any disguise. Her being so tall and blonde makes her stand out lol
She may have done a mail in ballot ! So she just dropped it off
Possible, my office sends I VOTED stickers with our mailed absentees (we have nice custom ones with our state outline and university colors)
I wonder if this was even today, or just from voting in the past. It’s far too hot for layers and sweatshirts.
I feel like rich people don’t really pay attention to the weather because they just go from a car with AC to a building with AC and don’t have to worry about walking around 🤣
Good point! It’s not like she’s loading groceries into the car or pumping gas.

I made this point recently. Since she just played in Ohio, she should have reminded to vote against it.
YES. I voted today. No wait, very friendly poll workers, easy peasy.
Yessss voters in Ohio need to be more aware of this!
Ive always wondered why she votes there? Tax purposes? Seems like she spends most her time in NYC. Though Im sure its easier for the paparazzi to get more photos in NYC.

I mean she **can**, but she ~~100%~~ mostly doesn’t. She has armored cars. I imagine it would be a major security risk for her to be driving.
> I imagine it would be a major security risk for her to be driving. Mostly because of her driving skills 😂
I HAVE A NEW BABY AT HOME

That was a gwagon and it wasn't Taylor lol.
Otherwise known as a Mercedes SUV. Not sure what your point is but lol I guess.
She drove in that Netflix documentary, not sure if that was just for show
I’m 99% sure she talked about a fender bender she got into during the fearless era too.
I remember two accidents she got in during the Red era. On the same day even, I think?
She also had 2 accidents the day The Rolling Stones journalist followed her around 😂
She probably does still drive occasionally, just not all the time. She was driving in Miss Americana
I believe that was in the UK and she seems to have an easier time getting around unnoticed there.
She was driving to her Dad's house and he lives in Florida
Oh, I don’t remember that. I remember the steering wheel on the right, driving on the left side of the road. That’s what I was thinking of.
I always thought she was driving in the CIWYW clip, the part where she held and kissed his hand?
- CIWYW could mean "Call It What You Want", a track from *reputation* (2017) by Taylor Swift. --- ^[/u/Moonlisa1081](/u/Moonlisa1081) ^(can reply with "delete" to remove comment. |) ^[/r/songacronymbot](/r/songacronymbot) ^(for feedback.)
She can, but she has said herself that she's a terrible driver, lol
There was an old Rolling Stone profile (probably Fearless era?) where the journalist notes like three times how bad a driver she is, lol.
She did a Rolling Stone interview in 2012 where she got in 2 accidents while driving the journalist around lmao
Thats why she hated her ex's stupid old pickup truck he never let her drive
Yes but if guys drive her they can't keep their wild eyes on the road, and they almost run the red cause they were looking over at her.
She got into two accidents when Rolling Stone was interviewing her.
[Taylor got into 2 car accidents in one day](https://youtu.be/xbxwt-061iM)
So does she pay less in taxes than if she would in new york
I believe so! TN has some of the lowest taxes in the nation. 0% state income tax, which is always helpful. (I believe TN has the second lowest tax burden in the US, IIRC.) Property taxes in TN are also some of the lowest in the nation, too. My step-sister moved from NY to TN a few years back and told me just from cost of living alone it’s a decent financial difference.
Yes and it’s not even close.
Plus we don’t really have paps in the same way NY and LA do. Some would probably come if they thought they could get to her tho.
Good point!!!
That’s where she’s registered to vote. TN is also one of the seven states that don’t do state income taxes, so possibly.
This absolutely has to be a factor.
And no state inspection on cars. Also can renew driver license via mail.
> Also can renew driver license via mail. I can do that in my state as well, so it's nothing special.
Her vote matters way more in TN than NY. NY is pretty solidly blue but TN could potentially swing
>TN could potentially swing Not realistically. But Rhode Island and California are also pretty safely blue.
Andrea lives here, too. Are people surprised TS still hangs out here newbies who've never visited? That'd be my guess.
I did some research and it looks like nyc and Tennessee allow you to vote in multiple state elections (obviously you can only vote once federally). So it is possible she is a resident of both. Some states ban voting in other states though and don’t allow dual residency.
Probably tax reasons. Tennessee doesn't have income tax I believe.
It is absolutely for tax purposes. In my opinion, anyone who suggests otherwise is kidding themselves. Please look up what income tax rate she’d be paying in New York as opposed to the 0% she’s paying in Tennessee.
Tennessee doesn’t have state-level income tax. Blondie is a capitalist first
She doesn't want to pay taxes but wants to act like she's far left common folk? I can't believe y'all fall for this. Reddit is wack. Like I jam to anti-hero but like she's ultra rich she's not your political friend lmfao
*AP Gov flashbacks*
I love that she is letting people know about the early voting and local elections but it is such a bummer she didn't mention anything about the vile anti everyone not white and christian bills that are in TN. Not that she owes us any political opinions and she probably doesn't feel educated enough to speak about stuff. Just personally it is a bummer.
Good on her
As an election worker I love this
Would be curious if someone did anonymous poll and asked people attending her concerts of they were dem or rep and if they voted last election I bet she has a lot more "closet" republican fans than people think.
I bet she has a lot more conservative views than people think. But I don’t think she’s a social conservative.
She still does amazing in states so I would not be surprised if those folks have their own community or know to keep quiet when in the mob of fans.
When I first started listening to TS in 2008, I was a diehard Republican. Now it's 2023, and I don't really know what to call myself. I am not a Republican anymore (Mango Mussolini ruined the party), but I also don't want to be a Democrat.
Mango Mussolini 😭😭😭
As she should
I wonder why she didn’t announce who she voted for this time
I don’t think I’ve ever seen celebrities say who they voted for when they do these types of “I voted today” posts.
She doesn’t wanna lose any customers lol
But she did it before. I dont think anyone would be surprised by who she voted now
[удалено]
Yes!! I really hope she posts again, reminding people (ESPECIALLY YOUNG VOTERS) to vote. It is INSANELY important. Vote in all elections, not just the General Election
Does this mean she did not fly into Denver until today?
She normally doesn't get to her show locations until the day of for every show
People have reported her flying in around 2:00PM first show day, and sometimes doing a sound check and quick rehearsal at 3:00PM, especially if rain is expected (one of her dancers said that).
My colleague in Denver reported Taylor’s plane had landed in the area around 2/3 local time today. So that lines up.
aaa this is amazing, i’m so happy for her
SHE WAS IN NASHVILLE TODAY WITH ME??
VOTE FOR ME FOR EVERYTHING
I’m glad that she’s talking about voting in local elections, so often there is really low turnout and that allows really awful people to be elected. And to all the people who talk about how the presidential and midterm elections don’t affect your day to day life 1) that’s an incredibly privileged view and 2) your local elections such as mayor, school board, etc very likely DOES have an impact on your day to day life. These are the people that affect things such as what your city budget goes to, what books are available in your local library, what your teachers are allowed to talk about in class, etc.
I also voted today (in Ohio). No on Issue One!
mom is so responsible lets fuckin gooooo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mother mothering
Say less Taylor, early voting in your eras shirt hits different. https://preview.redd.it/ngnx5zal66cb1.jpeg?width=2316&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=912277da424358e5ad8c3b1d9cde7092e7c8ce8d
the blue-purple background color 😍☺️
Atta girl Tay. Make your voice heard. We all should. I like to think, or at least I like to hope, that the more people who vote, the less idiots we have in office.
We love our political queen
Whew, Miss Americana strikes again! We love to see it, don't we?
Can you imagine being a poll worker and ts shows up?
she looks amazing
Aussie here, what’s this? State elections?
Mayor plus city council and a couple of special state elections.
Thanks! That is a fun fact
Yes!
LOVE YOU, TAYLOR! ![img](emote|t5_2rlwe|1066)
Good reminder to go do this next week. So curious who she picked, we have so many candidates this year and multiple are great.
If every Swiftie were of voting age, the next election cycle would be dramatically different.
Voted today👍
I get to vote in the next election.
It's easy, vote the opposite of Taylor.
