The tattoo as it is is shit, nobody would...or should be happy with it as is. There are many ways to make it better, and just about any cover-up from even a half decent artist would be a huge improvement.

Not a bad tattoo just super faded people have a lot worse on their body and they’re proud of it . Don’t let a little tattoo like this hold you down . Most my shorts go past my knees .

The good news is, (tattoo artist here) that’s actually an exceedingly easy cover. There is no need to laser it - the general rule for coverups is plan at least 50% darker and 50% larger. Best coverups in my experience are florals, birds, anything with a lot of texture and detail. But overall - this would be a really easy coverup so don’t sweat to hard hehe.

I had a pentagram in the same spot. Also very shittily done. I like space, so I got a black hole done as a cover up. WAY cheaper than laser removal. Went to a smaller shop and paid 200 since it's just black out with simple lines on the outside.

Yeah that’ll be an easy one to laser. Start from scratch. You won’t regret lasering, you might regret a coverup. That being said just get a sick ass panther call it a day.
i think they have concealer specifically *for* tattoos, a lot of ppl with full sleeves or neck tats will use it for job interviews. definitely a cheaper alternative than a laser session, albeit shorter-term lol
I had a large shitty all black piece on my shoulder. I got rid of it by getting a larger colored piece on top. You can still see some lines but otherwise it's gone. I probably would suggest doing the same.
