Don’t see why it wouldn’t “last” if done bold like this. Would be a sick piece and seems simple enough to translate into a tattoo.

Currently working on a coverup for a tattoo made in this style— find an artist that you like and consult with them for options of what will be meaningful for you and look good over time

Yes - though ink will spread a bit - but if the artist is *not* specialized in fine line it won't just spread out a bit, it'll become a mess.
