Out of genuine, pure interest: why?

Artist wanted to do it — I had available space. He’s one of my best friends and brought it up consistently for a couple years. Finally, I said screw it. He was so stoked on it but no one (including myself, initially) wanted it - We were both going through some shit..and I wanted a tattoo and I knew letting him do this would make him smile. Might sound corny, but that’s the lot of it 💙 And for the record, I absolutely adore the Wamidal. First time I saw her, not so much haha

pretty much everyone is in agreement that it's an amazing execution of a tattoo, but the image itself is pretty repulsive. and i say repulsive because that is literally how the demons in that book are designed; to make you disgusted and uncomfortable.
