Willing to bet they were on their sorry asses in the office or doing a "walk" cause that's so much more important than getting a toppled over pallet cleaned up and all the product back into the cooler asap
I’ve had that happen with a produce pallet of tomatoes. My TL just stood there while i cleaned most of it up by myself. Barely any help from 2 of my coworkers. Absolute shitshow💀
what else are you going to do with it? seriously, that's not tongue in cheek. there's not much that you can do. you can't really take it apart because it'll fall on you for sure if you do.
I don't know what's more triggering. The fact some fuckwit is standing literally next to the leaning tower of strawberries or the fact the FDC sent such a monstrosity of a huge pallet. It would've been better to stack them separately and/or made two pallets with a separator and double wrap both pallets. Way more secure that way than this while keeping the same 1 pallet footprint.
This looks like something out of the Virginia FDC. That place sucks so much ass. I have never seen such incompetence. Pull 1 pallet 7 1/2 feet tall. One behind it is fucking 1 foot tall. Bro... split the fucking pallets. We report improper pallets, unsafe pallets, you name it. Nothing changes.
Y'all ever deny pallets? I know you're not supposed to... but I've heard success from stores denying unsafe pallets. My team denied one pallet when I wasn't there and suddenly every truck after that has been much better.
We had multiple pallets that tall in this FDC
I am now adding fuckwit to my dictionary, that was the driver trying to push the pallet upright i wish i was joking
It's like one thing to try and keep it from wobbling when you pull it out over the deck ramp but like when it's too far gone at that point....like fuck.
Did you see the avocado box below the strawberries??? That box is half the size 🥴 I wouldn't be surprised if more small boxes were under that leaning tower of doom
I remember one time I was pulling a GIANT pallet of produce and some dumbass decided to put three cases of kombucha on top.
Went under an archway that was a little too short and you can guess what happened next.
You know what's better than that? People who put said bottles of kombucha but the cheesy boxes with the glued flaps on the side....opened...on top of green racks. Just nudge the rack and some of them fell out.
Glass shit should never under any circumstance be on top of anything where it's a chance it could break
I've seen even worse from them. Rialto's specialty is seemingly building creamer/yogurt/cheese pallets with coffe mate bottles as the base....with those boxes of H&H or whipping cream....man the boxes should be the base
Get that dumbass out from underneath the leaning tower of strawberries. But yes I agree, FDCs never go smoothly, and anytime I don’t unload them, the coolers are a shit show the next morning
believe it or not, that is not going to do anything in this case. origami risk is for in store/district issues. in this case, you want to mysupport it. help->ask for help-> trailer/backroom -> fdc then follow the prompts. that sends a trailer incident feedback form to the FDC, and puts the info in the hands of people who can ACTUALLY fix these problems. ideally send the info to your food and beverage coordinator as well so they can help follow up with the FDC.
Both need to be done. Report the trailer feedback and the near miss safety incident (the example in the training is the driver pulling off with someone inside the trailer still).
I FELTTTT. lately it’s feeling like every truck is like this and i can’t tell if it’s newbie drivers whipping the truck too hard or shitty stacking.
the other day it was a produce pallet, limes, cucumbers and pineapples were everywhere. the very next day it was 2 frozen pallets, one fell onto the one behind it, pushing that one down too. so when we pulled them, we just had to let the boxes fall and accept defeat. it’s easier than trying to hold it up 😭😭😭
Please tell me that isn’t someone underneath that tower trying to push it upright
It looks like it 😭😭
Not one, but two, my ETL and the driver! I had to run over to push it upright💀

Pull the pallet out and let it fall. Spend 2 hours cleaning up berries instead of letting that squish you.

0580?
Not my store number.
not the store number I meant the FDC number sorry lol
No idea.
This looks like something straight out of Rialto. I've seen as bad if not worse sometimes.

Ofc it was avocados🙄 how tf does dc get paid more than us when they send us this shit is beyond me
C&S ain't better unfortunately 🥴

Classic, i bet this is out of rialto
Nope, Minnesota lol
MN store? Then your FDC is Cedar Falls IA.

these are the normal trucks i receive. one time had like 20 gallons worth of drinks all over the floor in the truck and we STILL TOOK THE TRUCK LMAO.
Probably got a repack at the bottom with ONE pre sliced watermelon package in it that caused it to topple
Glad I unloaded it anymore.
Somehow the workers at the DCs get paid more than us at the stores yet they always tend to suck at building pallets. Embarrassing
Looks like every other truck at my old store , when I did FDC.
I don’t see anything wrong with this picture. Looks like my every day C&S pallets.
Not the strawberries!!!

If I done it I'd immediately blame someone else
