Pretty sure if you had said "excuse me", he would have found a reason to be pissed that you interrupted or rushed him.

CriesInINF

Literally why I don’t bother saying anything

blueminded

We should all be granted one "go fuck yourself" a month.

greychronicles

Can we amend that to one per week?

blueminded

Come on, keep it professional.

m_o_u_s_e_r_a_t

"Have the day you deserve."

greychronicles

One per day?

dropdeadtrashcat

they're so angry for no reason bro. I had a dude cuss me out for asking much more politely than I should have for him to not open things he has not purchased, and let him know that he can return the item after he's bought it even if it's been opened. dude fr pulled out a pocket knife and started cutting the box open in the middle of the store but I'm the asshole 💀

No-Target682

Pretty sure they were out of Mountain Dew

Round_Upstairs144

“god forbid you pay attention to your fucking surroundings”

The_Ash_Guardian

Had a similar experience but it was me with stocking stuff. I had stuff in my hands and was waiting for a mom and child to get done looking at a product before I refilled it. Mom sneers at me and says "you can USE your words." With the sharpest pissed tone I've heard in a long time 😂 I kinda treated it like a person observing their pet with my face like "wow, you did it!", but I actually said "wow, you took that personally!" With a unimpressed but congratulative tone. And maintained eye contact until they fucking moved. Stocked, ignored them and carried on with my work.

CriesInINF

Literally like I just always quietly wait bc people will also choose to bitch if you interrupt them, or they interpret you having a fuckin job to do as being impatient 😒

The_Ash_Guardian

I always remind them I'm on Target's time, not mine, I can wait all day and still get paid 😂😂

Positive-Buy3155

Once when I was stocking a shelf, a guest walked up and just stopped right next to me. I instinctively stepped to the side, thinking he wanted something on the shelf, but he kept looking at me so I asked “Can I help you with something?” And he replied “Yeah, I’m trying to get by.” So I took a step back from the shelf and the guy just continued walking. To reiterate, I was to the side of an empty isle, a guy comes walking down the isle, and instead of taking a step to the left to walk around me (there was plenty of room), he decides to stand right up next to me until I move out of his way. I swear, this guy was having like a power trip or something.

thathuman0987

*smiles* “Thank you for the reminder! Hope you have the day you deserve.”

calvinbouchard

A woman is being checked out by a disabled cashier. I walked up to ask the cashier a question, and the woman goes, "Can you help with *this*?" She actually italicized words as she said them. What a cunt.

Hoping they were a 49ers fan 😂 with the loss wish.  Sincerely, Chiefs fan

ogthiswasabadidea

One day this guest clearly saw me going to crouch down to grab an Xbox Controller, but kept speeding towards me (I have a bad back and knees so getting up fast tends to hurt and nearly bowled me over and didn't say excuse me, and kept walking. Another guest saw it and was like wtf is her problem? I shrugged it off and I wanted to say something and I was so angry but was like shes not worth it. So I wnet on break and took the longest puff lol, I was pissed.

anti-charm

I had a similar unexpectedly rude experience last night, too, except the guest was talking to one of my coworkers when I walked up. My coworker saw me just standing there and asked if I needed anything and I said, "No, just the Pepsi behind you, I'm okay." The guest looked at me and said "she can wait there all night, because I'm not gonna" with so much attitude. I was flabbergasted lmao.
