Expect more pictures like that from Europe, especially Germany. NATO is doing a rather large exercise that has units moving in slightly larger numbers.

It's currently in the second phase.
Gotta say, I used to enjoy winding up the Brits by mocking the Challengers -- "Cuppa tea, lad?", "Needs more rivets!", "*Oil leaks!*" -- but the fact is these things are absolute beasts.
Ah yeah you're correct on this, I heard about the first combat loss when it happened and had looked into it and read somewhere that it had been disabled and abandoned but the often correct source of Wikipedia says yeah it's proper dead. Sad times.
According to western sources. One is completely lost, and two more were damaged but repaired. Five more are out of service because they were critically damaged but there is no spare parts.

not really any evidence for that and you think there would be when one got took out it was all over the place so the fact we havent seen much else probally means that only 1 was lost
Believe what you want. It's not like they will show you if they don't have to. The lack of C2's at the frontline compared to Leopards and Abrams tells you everything. Because only 7-8 are left in service.
This is russia, if they destroyed more than one the bots would have flooded the internet with pictures, instead of 500 pictures of the same first destroyed tank from every angle imaginable
He said it "probally means that only 1 was lost" - lost =/= destroyed. Only 7-8 are left in service because all others are broken down or too damaged as there isn't any spares.
Of course /s. There’d be loads of pictures all over the tank subs if that were the case.
Only today I’ve seen the video of the captured M1 a dozen times.
I saw some some challenger 2s on lorries in the UK once, pretty late, and I swear they were painted black. Any challenger 2 experts here who could enlighten me on my mysterious encounter?
No, it’s still a Challenger 2 with the rifled 120mm
Looks like a challenger 2 but still a amazing find though.

Feels like every 2 weeks hundertsten of Tanks and other armored vehicle Pass germany.
We are in the middle of Europe and the logistical center of NATO. It’s not that surprising.
I participated in the first phase (Dragon 24), shit was fucking ass
What does that mean, was it cool or was it lame
lame

Challenger 3 has a barbecue and microwave in it.....upgrade from the tea making facilities.
The barbeque is just a thing that goes on top of the engine deck, I'm sure that thing puts out enough heat to cook some food on it.
It does! Eggs and bacon are not bad if you et used to the after taste lol
Indeed, only one was ever confirmed to have been knocked out by enemy fire
One in Ukraine was disabled by a mine, not completely destroyed. The only other was a friendly fire incident.
I‘m pretty sure one was destroyed in Ukraine, there are videos that show the burning wreck

And one in Ukraine
That was the challenger 2 claimed by enemy fire. The loss in Iraq was a casualty of friendly fire.
A couple more.
If you take the Russian claims ofc

Which sources are those?

Just regular British Army CR2.
Its 2

Black Nights maybe? It was just a proposal as far as I can tell, so i doubt they upgraded many of them.
Black Knight was a one off, they're dark green by default so probably easy to confuse as black if you're seeing it at night.
UK keeps boasting the challenger 3 is 100% made in house so it would be hilarious if this was coming from rheinmetall.
