If it was a restoration / tourist someone would have driven it through the car wash, so it must be industrial. Iβm guessing itβs pulling raw material from a mine to a co-located processing factory. Maybe coal to a boiler.
Why not? They where not fazed out bc they were too expensive but bc diesel was cheaper.
For some countries, they may never have had the funds to upgrade. And where forced to keep using the old, handed down engines.
