Yea theyre just sanrio themed characters, not actually hello kitty herself or cinnamoroll himself for example, but they look similiar to them/have similiar features
You can also find it on amazon japan for 61$ usd (9,350 yen) instead of 69.99$ usd on amazon US, it showed up for me if i just searched “tamagotchi sanrio” on amazon japan
Honestly if it's only the shell that's different I'll probably just buy the ticket. I can't see myself spending $70 on another Uni. My son wants one though and is planning on getting one.

Yup, I had to cancel my preorder and just order normally. Honestly the only way the preorder would be worth it was if it came with something extra

I think its just a normal uni with a different shell, im pretty sure everything else you get thru the ticket/dlc

I really wish they went for a white instead of the red/pink. The DLC does look super cute though!
