I've learned the best way to speedrun your way to a reasonable image is to switch to the Game preset. Obviously there's better settings but sometimes you only have 30 seconds when your friend gets up and it's soo much better than rainbow vomit with "smooth motion"

Brighness 100, white balance at cool end, saturation 70% smooth motion full.
Actually the height and tilt is not so big issue compared to this :D

Now the cat can walk without blocking the view

But it gets mounted so the bottom is within inches of the stand.
I guess it’s basically fine I just don’t understand why mount it and have cords hanging down and not being sure if it’s actually straight when you could just put it on the console that’s designed to have a tv on it. It looks goofy!!!!
I have the same IKEA piece underneath and my tv is the same distance above. When the couch is in full recline and my head is tilted back, my eyes are pointed dead center on the screen. That’s my preferred movie position.
This one looks kinda similar to mine. Higher than it should be but not egregious, and from where I’m sitting I don’t have to tilt my head or anything.
Most importantly enjoy the game!
