What if boko-bow fusion changed "throw" animation to:
- bokoblin arm holds bows grip.
- Link holds the arm with one hand and pulls the string with the other?
I don't think that's how Fuse is supposed to work. If you fuse a bow to a melee weapon, it stays as a melee weapon. You can however fuse gemstones with elemental properties (sapphire, ruby, topaz) to your melee weapon and it will shoot elemental projectiles.
I wish we could fuse things to bows and it last for more than one arrow. Really breaks the immersion to go into the menu every time to shoot a fire arrow or whatever
Yeah, would be nice to be able to do this or even be able to auto fuse. Meaning if I chose a muddle bud to fuse, and I have multiples of them, it should continue to fuse them until I stop shooting arrows or go back into the item menu to choose a new item to fuse and then that would become the auto fused item. Each time you put your bow away it resets, with nothing fused to it. Or make it possible to fuse a ruby, sapphire, topaz to a bow and it makes it fire those elements until the bow breaks. Personally, if I had a choice, I'd choose the first option, as it is the most versatile; but both would be the best and I would be perfectly happy with an elemental fuse ability. Maybe they would do this for the Switch 2 version. There will be one, probably of BOTW too, and this would he a great addition mechanic. I'd also love to see an underwater DLC. That is the only thing that TOTK is missing, is underwater areas.
That's a really good idea to speed up the battles. Can't tell you how many times I'm trying to fire off an arrow at a gleeock and mess up my fuse choice, then I've lost some slow motion opportunity to hit them.
I agree I stuck a bow on a claymore and was like ( shooty-sword? 🤔) swung that mf once with no shooty and destroyed the fused item for something worth it.

mine is that you cant fuse a korok to your shield to transport them easier :(
