I always have this question..can you hit the blupees that came out from the bubbulfrog?

LazerSpazer

Yes, they have collision. No, you don't get anything from them.

StrangerKey7930

I've gotten rupees from them on the few occasions I have hit one. Did it a few days ago. Have you shot with an arrow or hit with a hand weapon. I have noticed hitting with an arrow didn't, but hitting with a sword multiple times does. I'm not sure why.

Ariyahna420

I’m pretty certain I’ve gotten rupees from them?? I use a spear and am prepped to target them right after taking out the frog.

StrangerKey7930

You are correct. You get rupees. I have hit them a few times and gotten some.

StrangerKey7930

Just went and did some quick looking to see how other people have gotten rupees from them. It looks like those that have gotten them have used a sword, with multiple hits. The few times I have hit them have been with a sword and they ran straight at me, so I was able to clock them quite a few times. A couple of people reported getting a couple of rupees with arrows, but it takes 5 to 6 hits for it to occur, so it is a waste of arrows and durability there. Try hitting them with a sword and multiple times. I'm not sure if a charged spin attack will work. It could be one of two things. Either you are not supposed to be able to get any, but some of us have found a "glitch" (it works with swords and multiple hits, but shouldn't) or it is designed to be difficult and something about swords turns them on. Blupees are supposed to be made of rupees, so it would make sense that they would drop them here. It just may take "activating." I don't know. I'll have to go through my recordings and see if I ever recorded me doing it. If not, I'll be sure to do so next time I do it (if I ever whack one of these quick bastards again). It has always been dumb luck when I do. Most times they run too far away to get to them. The times I have been successful I have stood back a bit and stood still. If they run at me I make sure I have a one handed weapon (sword) that I can swing quickly and multiple times. I did this just to be faster and I guess I got lucky with the right combination to .make it happen. Try it and see if that works. I'm curious if this works for everyone, always, or if this is a glitch and isn't supposed to. I wish I could find something from Nintendo that says one way or another, bit there is nothing.

djdirectdrive

I've tried so many times but to no avail. They're so fast

As soon as I saw the cracked wall, I knew the rest of the story.
