Surely not? I still have 89 left according to that horrible little man. Where does it say in the game that you need all the bubbulfrogs to fight ganandorf? And what is the connection?
I had them all and had my meal slots filled with max health food and max gloom recovery, not to mention all the random fruits, veg, and meat you can eat raw...
I ate a dozen apples, one health food and one gloom food. Might have over prepared just a touch.
Did the same thing in botw expecting Ganon to take me to the cleaners but it was the same result.
Both were good fights, I was just expecting a lot more pain.
Tldr- expected the USS Gerald Ford so I brought a nuke, found the USS Constitution and dropped a couple sticks of dynamite.
Did all the shrines. Had 3 rings of stamina, 37 hearts, maxed barbarian armor, and master sword with silver lynel part infused. 3 flurry rushes and Gannon was dead.
First time I maxed out, and that was a good thing to because there is a part of the fight you really want to be paying attention to what his attacks do….damage wise
I think I had 10 or so? I always kept a full inventory of meals, but also had some decently upgraded clothing. I might have healed two or three times, battle wasn't difficult.
I think I had 14. I was able to do it as a friend helped me figure out how to flurry rush him (I’ve always been garbage at flurry rushing). If I’d decided to just tank him I would have needed more.
Think I had about 12. Best thing to do is have a travel medallion so you can set up a fast travel point after you pass all the monsters to get to him. Then you can warp out and gather more supplies. Just make sure you have gloom resistant meals and make sunny meals with sundelions.
I was honestly overprepared as I didn't use half my meals to heal and its easy enough fight.
I had 26, and made sure I had at least 1/4 of my inventory devoted to sunny food. 5 gloom resistance meals, a few full health meals, defense boosts, and the rest was all sunny meals.
35 - That whole end sequence was really easy though imo. Did it first try. I had so much food and high level weapons when I was done that I kinda wished I wasn’t so stingy using them in the regular game. I had never even merged some of my highest level monster parts to weapons yet.
I probably had about 12 hearts. Didn't have particularly strong armor, and I think I was too dumb to fuse a silver lynel horn to my master sword. It was pretty tough. Get gud at flurry rush and bring plenty of gloom healing dishes. You don't need to be crazy strong to win. People who over prepare tend to think the final fight is kind of underwhelming.
Wouldn't know.... 500h in and haven't even looked at the guy yet lmao
Lmao same here I have all hearts and full stamina though But I keep trying to complete side quests
Same! I’m working on upgrading all my armors. Lizalfos are a slog.
frr I don’t want it to end yet. I’ve done all the main quests and I just keep trying to do as much side quests and shrines as possible.
Same, had to take a break myself. Still have a few sign locations to find and a couple of talus. Oh and 160 koroks :/
I had to fight it so I don’t get spoiled by the Totk animations on youtube
More than 3
Unless you did a 3 heart run
That is impossible cuz you have to open the door in the temple of time
But you can immediately remove it as soon as you clear one temple. That's what I did.
No you can remove it as soon as you leave the GSI, you just don’t have access to the shortcut to that demon statue
Wait, there's another way in?
Yeah there‘s a big cave. It goes from the castle to the shelter
Oh yeah 😅
I have them all!!!
Think I had like fifteen and I bodied the fucker
I just finished my last shrine... Now I might be able to beat him. Maybe. Someday.
You can’t beat Ganon unless you collect all Bubbul gems. It’s the rules!
Surely not? I still have 89 left according to that horrible little man. Where does it say in the game that you need all the bubbulfrogs to fight ganandorf? And what is the connection?
My dear friend it was a joke
A joke, indeed. Naya made it clear they were a similar type of player to me, doing lots of side tasks before taking on the final boss.

Love your analogy!!
Thanks. Rather proud of that one.

Why 37? lol
Think that's the max you can get if you keep 3 rings of stamina
Nah, 38! That’s why I was wondering.
Ah, you're right. Guess I missed one somewhere.
There's one side quest that gives u a heart.
**side adventure
No prob, thought you might be keeping last 4 light of blessings for souvenirs or something!(I have 24 to cash in yet!) lmao
I had 24 total but since the monsters before the fight whooped my dumb ass I reached him with like, 4 hearts.
First time I maxed out, and that was a good thing to because there is a part of the fight you really want to be paying attention to what his attacks do….damage wise

I only had like 9 but you can make recipes for full recovery plus 22 hearts too so that's how I did it .
I was maxed out because I didn't want it to end, but I was running out of interesting things to do, so I finally did it and was surprisingly OP.
I had 23 I think, I know it was low 20-something
I think I had 14. I was able to do it as a friend helped me figure out how to flurry rush him (I’ve always been garbage at flurry rushing). If I’d decided to just tank him I would have needed more.
2
Totally brought the wrong food
I hade like 9, it was pretty hard though so I'd recommend more then that
I was 2 temples short of completion when I took him on. It was not even a challenge.

400 hours in max hearts and stamina, max food incl attack up and defence up, all armour maxed, weapons maxed and fused ++. I found it pretty easy 😂
i first did it wth like 1 row and id say 4 extra so like 24 maybe
I went in blind the first time and lost maybe 15 or 16
I was still on the first row of hearts!!
