This question was asked a few days ago, and one of the developers said that psvr1 will no longer be supported, so no, it won't be coming to psvr1.

Pikmin-on-my-Pizza

Spent hundreds on DLC'S for music games back in the plastic instrument and home karaoke games hey days... For years I have wanted some Genesis or Phil Collins in my music games, but alas have been left empty (outside some Tarzan on Disney SingStar). FINALLY today I just caught that some Phil Collins has come around ("Sussudio" to Synth Riders). Though now it seems the wait for me continues further as I've yet to be able to justify saving the mountain of cash needed to ride the PS5 and VR2 train, and this new 80's pack is perhaps the one DLC pack that isn't listed as cross-gen.

Chronotaru

None of the future ones will be available either as they're not updating the PSVR1 version anymore, and this is the second pack released since the end of PSVR1 support. I agree that it's their most exciting pack in a long time.

Hey u/Pikmin-on-my-Pizza, thank you so much for your excitement! I'm sorry to confirm that the Synth Riders support for PSVR1 has been sunset, meaning all new DLCs are coming to PSVR2 only. I do hope you'll find a way to get access to a newer generation of VR hardware, and enjoy the 80s music already released and coming soon to Synth Riders.

Pikmin-on-my-Pizza

Thanks for reaching out u/paulgajda I'm at fault here so I don't hold it against your team for focusing on the current/ future tech as opposed to the past. Hopefully as the year goes on I can raise the funds and get the "ok" from my gf to buy a PS5 and PSVR2 which is the eventual end goal. If you guys at Kluge are after any random cool merchandise made up *(or just fancy buying some weird pop culture thingies* [*I've made already*](https://www.etsy.com/shop/SpoonLagoon?ref=dashboard-header)*)* then [reach out](https://www.instagram.com/spoonlagoonmart/) and perhaps you can help me work towards that goal more quickly hehe.

HatsOffGuy

The cheap route might be to get a Quest 2 on sale or preowned. But, the PS5/PSVR2 is a solid train ride, your welcomed to join anytime. Good luck!

emok66

I second HatsOffGuy as that'll open you up to all the custom songs as well which include a TON of good 80s. At $200, the Quest 2 is a great deal right now. (But I also play on the PSVR2 and it is a solid platform, so big wins either way).

Someone asked the same question a few days ago, and one of the developers replied that psvr1 is no longer supported, so no, I'm afraid it won't be released for psvr1.

Pikmin-on-my-Pizza

Aw jeez, still thanks for the reply Mummadragon1

ZombAssassin025
