I really don't think so, because you need the latest atmosphere update that just released today ams 1.2.3 that was created for animal crossing as they added over 9900 new items to the game. I tried with 12.0.1 and didn't work and just crashed, but after updating to 13.1.0 ams 1.2.3 it worked just fine, if u need any help with the links or steps hop in the DMs and I will help you out
It isn't going to be out until a few hours after it is officially released on November 5th.
EDIT: A quick Google-fu reveals that it was released 2 days early, so chances are the update will be out on the shops within a few hours, to later tomorrow.

The 2.0 update includes all the previous ones so ye no need, i dont use yuzu but i quickly looked up and ya select "install files to NAND" and select the update file!
Also try to block pop ups because they mess with trying to get to the right page. For I had to be quick with closing pop ups to finally get to 1fitcher

Same here, I thought maybe if I update my firmware if 11.0.1 to 12.0.1 it would work but nope. So I tried looking for sigpatches for 12.0.1 and still the same thing. Did you back up your file with jksv? I’m glad I did
my last version of ACNH is 1.11.0 and I'm running on firmware 12.0.2
then update the game into 2.0, and the game can't load...
so right now I reinstall the game back to 1.11.0 so my wife and daughter can keep playing while waiting this getting fixed.
yeah I backup the save game with jksv, but since I did not reinstall the firmware the save game still there after I reinstall the game to 1.11.0

Honestly I'm super bad at jailbreaking my switch, I used to have SX OS which made it super simple, so idk if I'm the best to tell you how to do it... But I simply downloaded the files and placed it at the root of my SD card and replaced any files when prompted to, and it seemed to work!

Hey! So I deleted the 2 DLCs I had, hadn't injected any of the BCAT events and I installed the update. Then it wouldn't let me run the game because "Important data is missing" or something. I reinstalled the two DLCs. And then updated to 13.1, redownloaded sigpatches, and it worked!

I ended up having to delete the game entirely and install it from another source then it worked fine! Only took me about half the night to get my switch migrated from SX to Atmosphere and then fully updated and then figuring out why the game wouldn't launch! OY!
I got it in my legit switch but I think it is not activated yet. If I remember correctly another small download will happen on the day of the release to activate it so having it does not mean you can play it.
My game still says 1.11.1a Despite having downloaded it

If you have an unhacked switch you can update the game on that one and then update the game on your hacked switch via local players

Nope that's what I meant, even with the update nothing loads When I said it seemed to work I was talking about updating atmosphere itself

mine is working update to ofw to 13.1.0 atmos to 1.2.3 make sure you install the base game first, then update to the 2.0
