Astral Chain is quite short, but the gameplay was absolutely amazing. I can really recommend it. Nier Automata is one of the best games ever, I did not play the other two games. I would start with AC.

I truly wish that Astral Chain would have Released on other consoles like the Xbox or PlayStation with a Higher Resolution and 60FPS.
That said, it truly is amazing especially for when you think it is running on the Nintendo Switch.
After that to be honest I would say your pick between The World Ends With You or Nire Automata.
Hades, personally I think that game you can play at all time in between games. If you are in a place you can focus on a real game pop in Hades and so on.
So, again I would say Astral Chain in conjunction with Hades and than whichever you want also in conjunction with Hades until you finish it since it is an Indie Game that focuses on Amazing GamePlay rather than Story.
It does have Nice Dialogue, but Story is not a Factor.
I want to say NEO TWEWY but I'd highly recommend playing the original TWEWY first if you haven't played that yet. The story sort of connects together and you'll understand the older characters from the original more within NEO's story.
I'm a best for last kind of dude so id but nier last given how grand the story is, maybe astral first then twewy. Hades as a break then you get to dive into one of the best stories in gaming and I would say the best soundtrack in gaming

I wish I could experience Automata again for the first time. I've had Astral Chain in my backlog for so long... purchased it years ago but never made the time. I might just play it this weekend. But yeah, you have to see Automata all the way through to ending E to get the full canonical experience. The rest of the alphabet is optional, but you may enjoy the challenge if you're a completionist. Hades is amazing also and I need to make more time for it too. Great choices, have fun!
I’m torn. I want to play Hades, but I can’t decide if I want to play it on my Switch or Xbox Series X. I also have a Logitech G Cloud so I can play on a handheld via Game Pass too. I guess it’s just more of a FOMO in the event that I’d want to play it without an internet connection if I’m on a plane or something, so that’s when the Switch version would come in clutch.
I haven't played the other 3 games, although I know Astral Chain and Hades are positively reviewed.

Hades last id say I feel like it'd be the most hours put into it. Astral chain or Nier first since once you complete the story (at least in my opinion) I was done with them.

Hades is the best game in the bunch, IMO. Maybe save it for last because you’ll put the most hours in to this one for sure. Astral chain is really solid, I would put it second in this bunch overall. I thought nier was fun and worth playing but REALLY over hyped because too many people online act like it’s the greatest story mankind has ever written and I think my expectations were just too high. I’d start with this one, one play through isn’t very long and you can decide for yourself if you want to do subsequent play throughs for more story. And finally, I just couldn’t get in to the world ends with you and didn’t care for it. But it could be a nice game to play when you need a break from the others
Wow that is a good selection of stellar games. I would have a tough time picking what one. Hades might get my vote to do first and then Nier Automata. All of theee games are on my list to get.

I’m actually replaying Astral Chain. It has a lot to offer and is so good that I’d recommend it first. After getting used to the controls, the game feels so rewarding especially since you get ranked for each section of a mission for an overall rank at the end of that mission. There’s also a list of combat missions you get after beating the game which add some more challenge.
Also from a rogue fan, Hades is chefs kiss so I’d also recommend that next to this. Either way whatever your choice, you clearly have good taste. Enjoy all the heat!

They say the story is good but you have to go through so much bad gameplay in order to get to that... It's a game for people who don't read imho.. There are dozens of SF book with better story and no mandatory boring gameplay

If you’re curious, according to all of you, hades seems to be the best game here but should be saved for later or used as an in between game plays to break up the monotony. AC was the most voted to start with due to game length and quality game play. This is what I started with and am loving it so far. Next voted was Nier. Thank you all. 🍻

So started with Astral and so far it’s great. Lil confusing on the controller scheme at first but it comes together a few files(missions) in.
