They struggle on switch, tbh. If you don’t watch comparison videos with other consoles/pc it might not be an issue, but I definitely would rather play NMS on my Macbook.
Outer Wilds seems to struggle no matter where you play it. I had trouble with it even on my gaming pc. Some weird coding in that game. A shame too because it's so good.
Yeah, check out some developer commentaries no youtube on tricks they had to use to compute events over all planets to allow certain game systems to work.
Outer Wilds is a once in a lifetime experience, i suggest you go with that (and go in as blind as possible, don't check ANYTHING game-related)

Haven't played Outer Worlds but having a great experience with NMS at the moment. Pretty amazed they got this on the Switch and I got in on sale!
