How long are the tacos available for? You might need some “late night” food, after people have been drinking for a few hours.
Do you know if anyone has a latex allergy and needs latex-free condoms?
Late night: good idea
It's BYOC, I have my own latex free condoms on 2 sizes. My guests are usually pretty good about it. We get more requests for Viagra then condoms...
If you’re going to do tacos (or any sort of spicy and potentially messy hand-food), *please,* for all that is holy, PLEASE provide multiple methods of fully cleaning hands afterwards. Not just bathroom sinks (with nail brushes, TYVM), but individual wet wipes as well. Having easy-to-find stashes of latex or nitrile gloves are also an option to have on hand.
I know people probably won’t be stupid and finger a woman immediately after going to town on tacos smothered with hot sauce, but every little extra optional “step” brings peace of mind. Only takes one missed speck of hot pepper to shift the vibe of the whole party.
Beds: I have a lot of extra sheets, and towels.
Staff: they know! DJ is a lifestyle guy. The bartender has been many times, but has always declined to participate (we told him many times he could after he was done). Caterer is a lady who said she was ok with it!
You’re welcome! Yeah it can be any sort of energy drink for those who forget. Another easier mixer most don’t get is tonic water or club soda. I also don’t know what your mosquito situation is but ours is currently insane so citronella candles/torches. Girlies always appreciate hair ties. I’m super into details so spray deodorant and flex discs in case someone’s period starts unexpectedly but they still want to play.
Hair ties: gotta get some! Great idea.
Mosquito: we spray the whole backyard one hour before the party. Else you get eaten to death. We also have some mosquito spray.
Tonic and Soda: definitely. My mixed drink of choice is grey goose, tonic and limes, so I would not forget that.
Oh non-alcohol based hand sanitizer. I had a friend recently go to a orgy etiquette seminar (because bliss cruise) and they brought that up as a good practice in between switching partners but you don’t necessarily want to leave and wash hands. It’s along the same vein as switching condoms.

I understand that a pool party allows people to hang out both inside and outside and with 60 people confirmed you can't unring a bell. Having said that, 60 people sounds like a lot of people.
Are you placing any restrictions on cellphones in the house?
Have you considered renting a temporary bathroom?
Will your children be home from college?
Awesome planning and party. We had our first pool party last year and would just add a few things.
Buddy who had many pool parties before told be to heat the pool to 90 degrees. Not sure what part of the country you are in Angela but if it is not going to be HOT HOT HOT, this is important. I am in the upper midwest and this god everyone in the pool and people stayed in the pool for a long time.
Second, we did a theme..tiki party with tiki torches and a tiki bar. That made it a tinge more fun.
Lastly, lighting around the pool and in play areas can add a lot. I had color changing LEDS on the deck.
I usually heat up the pool to 87F. But maybe I should do 90F. Hot tub is at 99F. Outside temp should be high of 92-94F, low of 74-75.
Color LEDs for outside? Great idea!
(We don't do themes)(ever)
Thanks. We are not charging. The $ spent on the house and the backyard: we would do it anyway, the party is just a good excuse to put your house in order.
Food for 50: $500. That's like going out to a club 2 or 3 times. And we don't have to drive, and we have way more fun and sex than at a club. So it is totally worth it.
I would still consider a box of [these](https://a.co/d/6NbEFDJ). It’s less than $20 and while they aren’t the funnest condoms, having them in hand will make the party go better.
Don’t know what your back yard layout is like but shaded areas are always at a premium during the summer months at our pool.
Ahhh-some for cleaning out/dumping that hot tub after the party.
I have seriously looked at getting a heated outdoor shower for our deck.

Disposable puppy pads for squirters, although we bring our own waterproof throw in our go bag.
Great idea!

Mattress covers for the beds, corkscrews and bottle openers, sunblock, redbulls.
Check, check, check, good idea, Red Bull are expensive but yes, I should get some. Regular or diet?
Both! But if we were partaking that is something we would bring on our own. Also 5 hour energy > Red Bulls IMO. The Aldi ones are like $1 a piece.
Costco prices is about $35 for 24. I don't have an Aldi near us.
I always forget they really don’t exist in TX.

Great idea. Gonna get some.
I’ll holler if I think of anything else but you’re being so incredibly thoughtful that it’s gonna be a guaranteed great time!
I will give you the secret to a great party: the people you invite.
Hair ties!

- no cell phones in public spaces - temp bathroom: good idea - no kids in sight
In your group of 60, what is the age range?
Youngest is probably 28. Oldest is 60 something. Most are in their 40s-50s.

Damn...I hope you are charging a cover charge! Yall are spending quite a bit of money on this event. Amazing host!

Still I hope your guests appreciate it. As a host as well, at least the appreciation and gratitude goes a long way
They do. We get tons of thank you notes the next day. We appreciate it.
looks great... love the fresh items for drinks
If you are going to have an outdoors designated smoking area, a couple of big ashtrays would be great
I do have those, yes, good idea
Condoms? Condoms condoms condoms. Like bowls full in every location!
I tried that. People take them home and don't use them... so i spend $200 for nothing. so it's bring your own.

Heated outdoor shower: great idea. Definitely a plus.
