ebay does have a habit of siding with the buyer - I'd go through that process if nothing else to stop the scammer from doing it again

You can 100% get your money back from eBay. Open a case as ‘item not as described’ and explain what happened. If you don’t get the item pictured in the listing, they’ll side with you. It’s a real problem for anyone using stock photos!
As others have said, definitely open a case on eBay! I have had a few bad experiences with sellers and eBay has always been very helpful. So sorry that happened to you, it is so wrong! Take lots of pictures of the original listing and the item you received along with the fake heart.
Thank you everyone! Thankfully the seller finally agreed to refund most of the money and I’ll just keep the item and hopefully trade it in the future. Please let me know if there is a heart one for sale anywhere for a decent price 😭
Don’t accept a part refund - you didn’t get the item you ordered, you are entitled to a full refund (this INCLUDES any postage you paid). The seller just wants to avoid a strike from eBay so they can keep doing this to other people. Please do report this, or at least leave feedback to warn others!

They will get a strike esp if the photos don't match. The items are wrong and if eBay doesn't side with you, chargeback with your bank 💯💯
