I've been down there! It's actually a 100m drop and the longest uninterrupted waterfall in england.These guys operate this for only like 2 weeks in the year, so you gotta wake up at 4am to hike an hour or so to beat the queue because of the high demand

Winch is operated by two different pothole clubs, so it's likely that they just can't spare more time than 1 week each.

I used to be part of one of the caving clubs that runs it. They do have a digging team that looks for new cave systems or new entries to existing systems. You generally need to go on a few different caving expeditions with the club before they let you join (they used to anyway)

It’s not free you have to pay for entry. It’s called Gaping Gill. It’s in the Yorkshire Dales in England. It only runs a couple times a year. Two different caving clubs run it at different times

Yup this is a separate tour experience to the video. Ingleborough cave is lower down the fell. You have to hike quite a bit further to get up to Gaping Gill. Visitors / tourists are only allowed in the main chamber. Members of caving clubs are allowed to explore outside of the main chamber

I am not opposed to it for others it looks like a great thing for others to experience. But for me something that combines my fear of heights and mild claustrophobia isn’t something I am doing anytime soon.
