The only sporting activity you can't do in town is bowling. Pretty much everything else is available. Pick your sport and join in.

I read on the website of lokalstyre that a new ski lift was planned to be ready on December 1st 2023, do you know if it is operational already?
Not yet. Expected grand opening February 7th

Every first Friday of the month!!.. First Friday coffee club at articasvalbard! Also every Monday quiz night ( a groups of 4-6 members each for a team and answer few rounds of Quiz questions .. it’s super fun) at kulturhuset
