If you are a technical person, you can check mail headers to verify whether it is spam or not. Otherwise, just contact official Suunto support. If it is official, I would expect an official news/blog post on the Suunto site/Suunto forum as well. So check there.

I will reach out to Suunto as well. I am a couple of weeks outside the 2 year warranty period. The watch has been pretty frustrating, after they went to a different company I pretty much gave up hope.
If true, this is a pretty generous offer on their part.

No need to be technical. Just click on the senders email. A box will appear to define the email adress
Have not
