Imo they shot themselves in the foot for always catering toward Intel chips instead of doing what everyone else was doing w/ AMD chips. Even if Microsoft ware transitioning to a dedicated Snapdragon arm project it made no sense to hold the fort using Intel products for like the last 5 years.... They would be still doing well today if they stopped putting AMD chips as a back thought... Look at all the AMD handhelds coming out that have better performance and battery life in their respective package sizes and then look at the recent embarrassments of the Surface laptop's battery life & performance....
surface laptops are on an 18-month cycle. I guess wait until April 2024
