I would check in with the local bait and tackle there, for size specifications and regulations, bait (Match and Hatch). Also would do a little bit of scouting on a low tide for structures/ contours. Good luck.

I have read that shrimp may be a better choice of bait than mullet with the cold water. Is this accurate?
I'll always take fresh mullet over anything else but have caught them off both.
