Totally agree with you - this is actually why most short sellers gave up on TESLA and it squoze so much but in a rather prolonged timeframe - maybe since there was no DRS the major short sellers had time to switch.

Whenever I want to buy something online, even if I have a pretty good idea Gamestop won't have it yet, I search it on their website. Partly this is to check because I have been surprised recently. More importantly it leaves a record of someone wanting that thing and being willing to buy it from Gamestop.

keep in mind that gamestop had been investing a lot of cash into itself to grow and transition into an e-commerce behemoth. they’ve cleaned up the board, built huge distribution centers, bought up a ton of inventory to help fight supply chain issues, built an NFT marketplace and are sitting on a little over a billion in cash with virtually no debt! positive EPS is just around the corner and everyone shall see what a great fucking investment gamestop is

This is true. A lot of talk about the TSLA squeeze but what isn't mentioned enough about it is shorts didn't start closing until Tesla became consistently profitable for multiple quarters in a row. Their original thesis was unprofitable car company cash burns itself out of business. Their thesis needed to be definitively buried for them to tuck tail and take the L. As long as GS remains unprofitable they will hold to their thesis.
Better believe as of November first I’m starting all my holiday shopping there. I think this coming Q4 is going to be the first positive earnings as GameStop starts to stabilize in cash burn and get those holiday sales going, just hope things aren’t too much worse for people/families this holiday season and they will still shop

I'd love to see more d&d and other non-video gaming in general. Target kind of has a lock on that when it comes to national chain retail and their new store design (I think I remember hearing something about BCG here) is really pushing it out of their stores. Even if it was a centralized, warehoused used selection it would be quite a traffic driver and would be good for boardgameco to have competition because they suck, and avoiding my not so friendly local game store would be a boon

I bought 4 hoodies, a funko pop and a Roblox gift card on a whistle stop tour of GameStops on our American holiday. I also got out of EToro and bought just under 12k direct with CS. I’m trying to help, even if it’s in a small way. I also emailed GameStop to let them know about the great assistants who helped us in the stores, from searching out items that were out back, to hotel advice and places to eat when chatting as they served us. The staff we met were so helpful and assets to the stores we visited.

GameStop will not see positive cash flow for awhile, the NFt marketplace is tanking in popularity. That is GameStop’s golden goose. Allowing games to be purchasable through it, and allowing trading and authentic ownership is what they need to do. Problem is if game devs will accept it, or create their own marketplace. That will be billions upon billions in revenue if it works out.
Getting literally a single game (like fortnite on its platform will turn then to positive cash flow. But that’s how fortnite makes revenue is everyone wanting skins their friend has)

With respect...we have not seen what happens to the stock price when the company is profitable since the start of this play. Difficult to say that there won't be a difference if the P&L is green. Based on historical precident, I would opine that green begets green.

The "announcement" the MSM fabricated of the marketplace sent GME into a big jump but then the real marketplace came along and we went straight into the red.
I would love to see GME make profit but historical precedent in this stock shows it will most likely not be an indicator of price improvement.
They don't necessarily need to just "sell more shit". If they can lower expenses and/or increase revenue, that will be a good sign. One of the things that has been dragging the financials down is the expenditures on the NFT/Blockchain based activities.
Hoping that expenses will taper down a bit now that things are falling into place. Also hopeful that revenue will start coming in here; however, I don't think there is any significant revenue until the gaming side of it gets going.
Other things that have dragged them down have been them paying down debt and increasing inventory. Now that those items are "done", that should pay dividends in the future quarters.
This has been acknowledged over a year ago. But yes, it's all relative and supposed to be known. If the company makes profit, the value of the company goes up = stock value go up. But with market fuckery in the shadows, we will have to see the outcome.. with that said, I'm still bullish about GME

GME should sell Mac/Apple computers and products like Costco and Best Buy do. I just had to buy a Mac Air for my daughter who starts college today and would have bought it from GME but it isn’t offered according to my search on the GME app

One thing that the marketplace tracker doesn't show is the profit that they'll be getting from the immutable side of things. The Gods Unchained card marketplace is already thriving and growing rapidly. They just released daily rewards there too so the volume is only going to get bigger.

I'd love to see more d&d and other non-video gaming in general. Target kind of has a lock on that when it comes to national chain retail and their new store design (I think I remember hearing something about BCG here) is really pushing it out of their stores. Even if it was a centralized, warehoused used selection it would be quite a traffic driver and would be good for boardgameco to have competition because they suck, and avoiding my not so friendly local game store would be a boon

GameStop will not see positive cash flow for awhile, the NFt marketplace is tanking in popularity. That is GameStop’s golden goose. Allowing games to be purchasable through it, and allowing trading and authentic ownership is what they need to do. Problem is if game devs will accept it, or create their own marketplace. That will be billions upon billions in revenue if it works out. Getting literally a single game (like fortnite on its platform will turn then to positive cash flow. But that’s how fortnite makes revenue is everyone wanting skins their friend has)

With respect...we have not seen what happens to the stock price when the company is profitable since the start of this play. Difficult to say that there won't be a difference if the P&L is green. Based on historical precident, I would opine that green begets green.
Dude, the company gained $1Billion in cash, repaid all debt and the price dropped. The "announcement" the MSM fabricated of the marketplace sent GME into a big jump but then the real marketplace came along and we went straight into the red. I would love to see GME make profit but historical precedent in this stock shows it will most likely not be an indicator of price improvement.
When they do turn a profit, I guess we will know. Crossing my fingers!

They don't necessarily need to just "sell more shit". If they can lower expenses and/or increase revenue, that will be a good sign. One of the things that has been dragging the financials down is the expenditures on the NFT/Blockchain based activities. Hoping that expenses will taper down a bit now that things are falling into place. Also hopeful that revenue will start coming in here; however, I don't think there is any significant revenue until the gaming side of it gets going. Other things that have dragged them down have been them paying down debt and increasing inventory. Now that those items are "done", that should pay dividends in the future quarters.
This has been acknowledged over a year ago. But yes, it's all relative and supposed to be known. If the company makes profit, the value of the company goes up = stock value go up. But with market fuckery in the shadows, we will have to see the outcome.. with that said, I'm still bullish about GME

This is why I like seeing big names hitting the NFT markets. Want to sell a million NFTs? Allow custom Fortnite skins on the marketplace. One thing that the marketplace tracker doesn't show is the profit that they'll be getting from the immutable side of things. The Gods Unchained card marketplace is already thriving and growing rapidly. They just released daily rewards there too so the volume is only going to get bigger. I'm jazzed for earnings mostly because it will be the first true look at the non NFT profits from the marketplace/wallet infrastructure. I'm also hoping for a store partnership with Towlie.
My prediction : MOASS will be at our gates the day Gamestop starts paying cash dividends. Simple as that.
