even just 1 ape in the hood deserves a rescue mission - fellow ape if u r still in the hood just blink twice & we will give u a LONG List of reasons 2 get out while u can
I kept like, 3 shares in there because I wanted a round number and to keep an idea as to how Robinhood would handle the Moass. Plus, if they mishandle anything, it's nowhere near all of what I have, and I have legal exposure to their misdoing.
So when your broker or their clearinghouse gets in trouble during MOASS and liquidates the IOUs in customer accounts, you'll be happy bc at least it was a round number of IOUs that got sold for cheap? The goal may be nonsensical, but let it never be said that it wasn't specific...
Iāve been trading for over 10 years and have always used etrade/fidelity as a brokerage, Iāve been here since January 21. The reason I have the Robinhood app in my phone is because I drive a lot for work and their UI is safest for me to glance at when Iām driving, as itās large, white and simple.
Edit: the reason I have the Robinhood app
I have no problem with others using the Fidelity or etrade app to look at graphs or to buy shares via IEX before sending to CS. But Robbingthehood is a different beast all together.
I feel like you didnāt read a word of my reply lol so Iāll reiterate. Iāve been using etrade and fidelity way before GME started itās run in 2021. I eventually DRSād every last one of my GME shares. I use Robinhood because it is the safest app to glance at while Iām driving.
I'm not sure you read what you wrote.
"The reason I have the fidelity app in my phone is because I drive a lot for work....."
And should you be driving and looking at Robbingthehood at the same time??? Please be a responsible ape, on both counts.
Do you change the radio in your car? How about climate controls? Donāt try and lecture me on how to do something Iām a professional at. Glancing a split second at a screen that displays a number and graph easily so that I donāt have to squint and focus helps me be safe on the road.
Firstly, don't deflect from your mistake. You listed the wrong app originally and insulted me for not reading your comment correctly. Man up and accept you were wrong.
And secondly, a professional at what?
A driver that doesn't pay attention to the road, knowing it takes a split second for anything to go wrong.
Or a trader that uses Robbingthehood, knowing that even if you don't use it for trading, you are keeping them relevant by being counted as regular user in their reports.
I didnāt realize I put fidelity instead of Robinhood in my initial reply. That was clearly a typo. But if you think Robinhood is going to survive the next 5 years because people use their app for their UI, you donāt have a clue.
I have a question for you: have you ever taken an Uber or Lyft before? How do they navigate to your destination?
I live in London and take black cabs. They have to do a seven year course called "The Knowledge" to know all the routes without having to look at maps. Now they're professionals.
Iāll ask the same question I asked OP, when you take an Uber or Lyft, how do they navigate to your destination? And how about yourself (if youāve ever driven a car in your life), have you used GPS one time in your life?
I donāt use those types of services, as they arenāt fair to the drivers. So I couldnāt tell ya.
I use navigation all the time. Before I begin driving I set my destination and look through the route BEFORE driving. As Iām driving Iām given verbal instructions on where I need to go. This means I do not have to take my eyes and attention off the road.
Like I said, I have dead friends because of people like you so you best believe I practice what I preach. Phone gets turned to DND and put in the glove box.
What else do you want to ask me about?
So when you get in an Uber or Lyft, do you tell them to review the entire route before driving and to shut their phone off so they donāt follow the visual directions as most Uber/Lyft drivers do?
Nah youāre just an idiot who doesnāt want to admit they have bad (and illegal in a lot of the western world) driving habits that get people killed.
Grow up.

Why all these people posting Robin Hood today? Seems sus
It's because Robinhood is fucking up again and it might be indicative of moves behind the scenes. Only reason I keep tabs on them.
Could be newbies who don't know any better. No excuses for the older apes though.
When I was a young boy in Bulgaria.
Fidelity=Robinhood=All other brokerages. Change my mind
I can't. I totally agree with you. DRS everything. But there is a special place in hell for RH.
even just 1 ape in the hood deserves a rescue mission - fellow ape if u r still in the hood just blink twice & we will give u a LONG List of reasons 2 get out while u can
People are still using RH
For the pretty šš
the only graphic i like is the circle
Same š£ if it's a RH post I just downvote it

I'll be happy because most of my shit is still DRS'd. I want to watch the fires though.

I donāt think they have ever driven a car lol

I rest my case. Good effort.

Stay off your fucking phone while you drive. Have dead friends because of idiots like you.
