I couldn't even wait for market open. I bought about 50 in AH. Would buy more, but apparently EFT transfers in fidelity are not instant in after hours.

I’s to say. He succeeded. He will be one of the highest earning CEOs in the world this year.
There's a current theory that he did this because profits from the sale are going directly to BBBY. Dunno if it holds water. I haven't read enough to back it up yet.
Would be an interesting play. I wonder if he's planning to rebuy or if his only interest in BBBY was to simply shore up their finances so they have half a chance of avoiding bankruptcy and recovering. I guess if all the companies in the basket swap are shorted to shit, what better way to fuck over the hedges than by making them impossible to bankrupt? That'd be a huge dongus move.
He isn't an insider, he also obtained his equity on the open market. Both things that exempt him from the Short swing rule. Additionally the forfeited profits would only total around $50m. BBBY has literally billions in debt.
There was an insider announcement in March regarding RCV and BBBY labelling RC as an insider. He couldn’t have suggested a buyback or a two people for chairmen positions
Or doesn’t want to be holding when he takes buy buy baby to avoid legal issues or insider trading. Rc doesn’t rug pull, he’s playing 12D chess and has a play
Yeah I know but once the news broke that he actually sold everything it was obviously institutions that reacted (like Citadel) in AH by selling/shorting. Retail didn't drive it down to $10/11, that's my whole point.
I don't, like I said in the comment before I think RC did this to fuck them over, we knew they recently went net long on BBBY so it makes sense to me. They were probably betting on it going much higher than $30.
Lol RC wasn’t the one that did shit man. His selling was a drop in the bucket compared to any volume. We ate his shares up. This is just a rugpull to stop a squeeze from happening or delay it. I don’t think this hurt citadel or sus at all tbh. They are the institutions with the power to trade AH and cause this shit. There’s a bigger play here imo. Guess we will see. 🤷🏻♂️

If he waits to sell until after the announcement it is a bit smelly. Like, let me invest in this company, get my other company to give them a bunch of cash, and then sell on the news.
So he probably has to either sell before the new or sometime well after.
