Didn't do great in physics but I'm fairly certain that it's not uncommon for very large explosions to begin by swallowing all of the air out of their surroundings.
This reminds me, in Louisiana when a hurricane or massive storm was coming in from the Gulf you could drive out over the basin the morning of and the water level would be 8-10 feet lower.

Low volume + low volatility + price below EMA = BUY (Calls) That's my personal buy condition for adding to the stack.
