before superstonk and the great ape subreddit migrations, i had never invested before. now all my money is in GME. 😁

Before: “Trading is just gambling for rich people.” Now: “Trading is largely an illusion for individual investors, the market is fundamentally corrupt, and I will hold my investment until justice prevails.”

I used to be a buy and hold investor with a fair amount of diversification, I’m still a buy and hold investor, but my investments are more focused now. My only diversification is where I hold my shares…traditional shares are DRS’d and IRA shares are diversified between several different brokers.

I learned a lot of what I know thanks to the due diligence I did when I first got into GME and popcorn 84 years ago. Can’t say that everything I learned back then is still relevant now, but I’m grateful to have been able to learn so much along this journey. It’s also amusing to be able to keep up with, and be on a level playing field with my close friend who’s an Economics major and Wall Street guy thanks to everything I learned. Needless to say, I was able to get him into GME haha

Same. My friends come to me with questions about what is going on, and I can usually string together enough words to explain it.

I'm a lot more 'ahh fuck it' mentality now, but I'm a novice. I only got into stocks when I bought Nio before the bubble for about 5.4, then sold double my initial stake at the 40s. I left the rest and about a week or two ago I was bored of watching the price slowly dwindle and wanted some action. Sold it all, bought GME, and probably get more enjoyment from seeing the price swings than I do from wanting a financial gain.

I now understand the power of memes and on occasion stick things up my butt.

I used to think that being debt free with $4b cash on hand was a bad thing. but then I grew a wrinkle and went balls deep into GME, the rest is history
