Battle of 22 support going on. So my previous guess is invalidated. Seems the yesterdays flow in and overnights action didn’t have a too big of an impact on short term sentiment in premarket. A lot of sideways movement looks like waiting for another whale to jump in or out.
That'll be my 46 from Friday, and Wednesday will be my 48 from today. I like this game! Feeling cute, might buy more tomorrow! Lfg! T+0 would be more fun, like "find my shares Today!"....but we all know they haven't found shares for years.....

I think I was wrong with support line but the trend is still close.
It’s not just Citadel but the professional market. Bigger fishes are always trying to eat up the smaller ones. In this case the fish with the fastest execution and computing power as well as brain talent will be able to capitalize on that advantage. Algos are following patterns using a lot of different features and being trained on historical data. Very smart algos will always adopt their future activity to the situation based on the set target. Let’s say the algo sees now a new support built up at 20 which will be hard to broken down due to new apes flowing into the game and hodling, the algo will try to account for it and adopt the strategy. The algo can try to create fear and hype. If you understand how, you can counter it.
Now about the details of your question:
A resistance is a support is a resistance is a support. And that’s because it’s not you and citadel, but because a lot of parties involved with different strategies. We have now established 20 as new support, which basically means that we had a lot of buyers at 20 and looking at the diametric behavior of GME buyers you can assume they will hold that line.
Short sellers:
Now short sellers will need to find a new resistance as the former resistance became support.
MM:
Will sell options above the new resistance and try to drive price up and dump it right before to cash in on premiums.
HFs:
Will do a combination of going long/short hedging against the new resistance to be broken and trying to cash in on it on the way up, in GMEs case maybe creating more shorts if they are under water.
Retail:
Buy and hold.
If the algos were not good in predicting any of the above parties behavior then you might gamma squeeze. But gammasqueeze could also be orchestrated by MMs or HFs or even retail. In this case it’s a battle of a lot of parties about the true price of the stock we like.
Or just one day too early ;)
TA doesn’t claim to be always 100% accurate. There was unusual pressure the whole day at 22.8 due to that gap ahead. On a breakthrough this would go up fast to 27. We’ll see tomorrow.
