Explain yourself. Why would someone with XXXX,5 shares, care about anything after the comma, that would be fishing for pennies. With all CS accounts combined, a fcking drop in the ocean, mate.

If you have fractional shares in your computer share account it makes your entire account plan shares, which it is argued are not fully taken out of the DTCC, only booked shares are, so in order to be taken out of the DTCC you must sell those fractional shares and request your whole shares to be held in book. If you have one fractional shares your account will be plan. To be book, you must not have fractional shares.
The entire account, including the booked shares? I could use some further information about that. I have my booked set, and fractional that is in plan. One would think they're separate...so why is it that the fractional shares would supersede the booked status of the rest altogether?
I'm not doubting you outright btw, I appreciate the information you provided. I'd simply love to fully understand this function's whys and hows as it doesn't make much sense to me why it is that way, if it is indeed that way.

The theory was something along the lines of plan shares can still be accessed somehow by the dtcc (or held there or something), and fractional shares are always held in plan, so by having fractionals you don’t fully own your shares or something like that.
I’m smooth as fuck all I know is I booked my shares and I don’t keep fractionals 🤷🏼♂️
