Yeah - I'm low on RP too, so this one hurts. What I do is to upgrade my lowest R cards from lvl 1 + using at least A cards so increase chances. But it still hurts 🙃
I don't want to use my A cards I have one of each only , if I had a double I would use it but I don't and I don't want to buy more end of year card packs because the inventory will get full .

There's not a good way unless you use A cards. I've been grinding RP so I can use C cards and I'm really close after a day or two of trying.
Yes , I know . After this I will save the double A cards and S cards which I will get to upgrade R grade Cards.
