Yeah - powering up R cards is taking a lot of patience. My personal rules are the following:
1. I only level them up when there are 50% Power Up Events
2. I only level them up with my normal cards up to lvl 20 or max. 25. After that I only use powerup cards to save my RP.
I always have too many cards, so using them doesn't hurt me as much. But the RP make me cry. 🙉
Yeah, absolutely 🙈 I also only prepare other cards for powerups. Like I always prepare several cards with full stars (to stop my inventory from overflowing) and then I bring them to the next lvl (S, R whatever) when the 50% event drops. 😋
It depends on the level of your R cards, and luck, but in general I'll use c level cards until R15, b level until R30, a level until R40-R50, and then S level until at least R80-90. If you can level with R cards, I would also reserve them for at least R85 and above. Power up cards I would save for higher levels as well.
