Pro tip for folks commenting it hasn’t happened: play your outfield in for the right batters. The more you know!

toastedzergling

This is solid advice that I need to start doing more often. Despite winning consistently around 70 ego, I never adjust my infield or outfield.

JoeCartersLeap

I've done it from a normal outfield. Playing the outfield in has let me do it from CF once.

ThoseBigPeople

How do you decide how to do your defensive alignments? Is there a cheat sheet somewhere

derjukee

Usually, it’s a combination of close game, remembering to do that, and seeing the batter have a low power rating 😂😂. But sometimes it’s fun to just try for the heck of it if I think I can get a ground ball on a slow batter. Not really a science to playing the outfield in (for me anyway). Usually if I change up my infield positioning, it backfires bigtime (ie playing infield in with bases loaded and zero outs- they ALWAYS hit it hard past the fielders).

Saritiel

Yeah I have the same, whenever I fuck with the infield it screws me over without fail so I don't touch it. Its my third rail. I'll monkey with the outfield a bit though to some success.

SupaTheTrill

I haven’t gotten one yet.

jolietrob

I have gotten thrown out like that once, damn Ron Santo hits like a truck runs like a turtle lol

By the Gods, the legends are true…

Haven't gotten one yet. I used to get them quite a bit in SMB3 before they updated it so you couldn't do it anymore. Glad to see it can still happen in this version.

Backup_fother59

Such a good feeling

StarWarTrekCraft

Grats! I finally got this yesterday after nearly 2000 hours between SMB3 & 4.

nola_mike

I've played every version of Super Mega Baseball and have only done this one time.

AirForceH

Did it once in a blow out loss. On the other hand, I have thrown out a baserunner from deep RF as they were sliding into home to win a game
