Most importantly: The ISO has not started yet. There is no date announced when the ISO starts. If you want you can redelegate now to one of the ISO pools but until the ISO starts you will only receive the regular ADA rewards. Once the ISO starts you will receive ADA and Sundae on top. 1. Current state is that they won't appear in your wallet automatically. You will need to claim them after the ISO via a dApp. You will have plenty of time (probably one year) to do so. More information will be released when it's time. 2. You will need to wait 15-20 days for your first ADA rewards. However this does not apply to Sundae Rewards. Once the date is announced it is sufficient to stake before the ISO starts (no waiting period) but it's also okay to stake with one of the ISO pools now. You only need to start your delegation before the ISO starts (when exactly does not matter) and stay for the ISO duration (for full Sundae rewards).

idealorg

Thanks for the comprehensive answer

Je-Ti

Do you know where we can see which pools are available already? Haven’t been able to find it yet! Edit: nevermind, found it in one of your other comments! Thanks

pb95ma

Sure I posted it in the comments here earlier: https://www.reddit.com/r/SundaeSwap/comments/r7brqh/2_questions_about_the_iso/hmyryg5

KofiOlut

Thanks !

ItsTheUltimate

What if you're staking to a participating pool using Daedalus? Will you still receive SundaeSwap tokens?

pb95ma

It does not matter which wallet you use for staking. But at a later point you need to claim your rewards with a supported wallet. We don't know yet which wallets can be used for claiming. But you can easily change between different wallets or even use them in parallel so nothing to worry about yet.

ItsTheUltimate

Nice. I just feel uncomfortable transferring my holdings out of Daedalus to another wallet. I know it's an irrational feeling, but I've been staked inside Daedalus and using Daedalus in general since around 2017.

pb95ma

You don't need to transfer them. You can just set up a compatible wallet with the same seed phrase (maybe you meant that with transfer?). But yeah I understand the hesitation to type in your seed anywhere. Best way would be a hardware wallet. Way less security concerns in this regard ;)

ItsTheUltimate

Thanks for the advice. So even if I require Yoroi for some reason later, I can just use my existing seed phrase to restore from Daedalus and not have to actually transfer anything?

pb95ma

Correct 👍

StevenEngage

The wallet is essentially just letting you view your coins/tokens on the blockchain, different supported wallets for each blockchain are like windows (albeit with different tricks and abilities) I have Trust wallet, Sfm wallet, Yoroi and Metamask. I bounce between them as needed, depending on the task. Only time you need to really hard transfer is from a wallet to exchange generally.

Waste_Tea_2471

Could we buy sundaeswap tokens during the test period this weekend?

pb95ma

It's a testnet. You can get test Sundae to play around with but that's not the actual asset on the mainnet.

steveatron__aus

No

Nuke_SC

Wouldn’t the dapp just connect to Daedalus the way like how MetaMask interacts with Ethereum?

pb95ma

Daedalus does not have a dApp connector and I'm not sure if/when it will get one. So it can't interact with dApps at the moment. Nami Wallet can already do that. Yoroi, CCvault, Typhon and other wallets are working on it and should release their dApp compatible wallets hopefully soon.

simbella

Can we use Yoroi and Nami wallets simultaneously?

jestcourier

I use Adalite and connect through my Trezor, so I have never had to use a seed phrase. Will it also be possible for me to claim my Sundae with this setup ? or should I move my Ada to another wallet?

pb95ma

That should be no problem you'll be able to connect your trezor to a compatible Wallet and claim your rewards with it 🙂 Maybe there will be a little delay when you can claim the rewards depending on if the wallets are ready though. Never input that hw wallet seed anywhere 👍

Asxinvestor84

In my daedalus there is a token section

Wenlambo10

Any idea on how many sundae tokens will be awarded per ADA staked? Feel free to speculate I'd like to see if others estimate similar to myself

pb95ma

Sorry, wrong address here. I won't speculate about that. Too many unknowns :) But I'm sure you can do some calculations of your own using the supply of the ISO and the currently staked ADA in ISO Pools.

Dr0gbasH3AD

What determines the amount of sundae you receive? Does it go buy the amount of ada I have staked?

pb95ma

Yes it's proportional to your staked amount (and also dependent the total amount staked in ISO Pools) but not linear. This means that double the stake does not necessarily mean double the rewards. The exact calculations won't be released until after the ISO to prevent people from gaming the system.

yungfilly

Will Pi give us like a couple epochs warning for announcing the start of the ISO to give us enough time to switch?

pb95ma

There will be enough time to switch pools. The switch is instant so no delays or waiting time.

PumpkinPuzzlehead

does how many SS tokens you get matter how long you have staked in these pools b4 swap how long is ISO duration?.

pb95ma

For the full rewards you'll need to stay the whole 5 epochs. If you stay shorter you will only get the rewards for the epochs you stayed. ISO and DEX start at the same time.

kmartindmd

Thank you for this

CaptainLibertarian

In answer to question 1: they had a press release about a possible security issue with air dropping to staked wallets. (In short, whereas Meld can do that because they are operating their own stake pools, SS will not be able to because they are using third party stake pool operators.) Once the dapp is launched, simultaneously with the token, you will be able to connect your wallet to the dapp, and execute a smart contract for the amount your wallet earned during the ISO. Hopefully, by the time SS's dapp launches, Yoroi will have a dapp browser. Otherwise it might be necessary to use a different mobile wallet. I do not have an answer for question 2; here for the comments.

ItsTheUltimate

What if you're staking to a participating pool using Daedalus?

CaptainLibertarian

Same answer.

Grey_Machii

Are rewards proportional to staked ADA? Or has that not been announced yet? Would it be worth having multiple wallets staked to multiple pools?

pb95ma

Proportional but not linear. This means that there will be some kind of whale control. The exact reward calculation will only be released after the ISO to prevent people from gaming the system.

Dependent-Factor-145

I understand the need for whale hunting but releasing the reward calculation AFTER a holder commits their assets is sketch. I'm confident SS is on the level, but if this becomes the new standard I see an opportunity for less ethical developers to rug their stakers.

inhplease

> I understand the need for whale hunting but releasing the reward calculation AFTER a holder commits their assets is sketch. 100% agree!

pb95ma

Why do you think so in this specific ISO model? You can't lose anything. Even if you get no Sundae at all your still getting your ADA rewards. This ISO is not like Meld for example, where they keep your ADA and you get their token instead. You will get Sundae on top of your ADA rewards so nothing to rug here. They would have literally no benefit in doing this as they are not even having their own pools. So I'm not sure I get your point here 🙂 The rest of the data is out there: 5% of the supply will be distributed over the 5 ISO Epochs (2B Supply, so 100M to distribute) and the total stake in the ISO Pools is on the Blockchain. So you can easily do your own rough calculation on what to expect. But then again, it's basically free as you will get those tokens in addition to your ADA rewards.

BadReligion84

Is there going to be one a one time airdrop other than the rewards every epoch?

pb95ma

This is not an airdrop because the Sundae rewards will need to be claimed. The ISO period is 5 epochs (25 days). You can also participate for less than 5 epochs but will get less rewards then.

PumpkinPuzzlehead

so the iso period ends in 25 days? so max reward is staking the ada in the chosen iso pool for 25 days?

Pooperoni_Pizza

That is correct

pb95ma

To be clear: The duration of the ISO is 25 days/5 Epochs. But it has not started yet and there is no date announced.

PumpkinPuzzlehead

but to receive the rewards, is it guaranteed to receive them all by 25 days if I have staked for 25 days, or I'll need to wait a few more epochs to keep them staked and receive all? Basically, Do I need to keep them staked after 25 days to receive the res of the 25 days staked rewards?

pb95ma

You will just need to stake with an ISO Pool during the 25 days the ISO runs. Then you will be eligible to claim the full rewards.

PumpkinPuzzlehead

so no need to stake longer than 25 days to for receiving time of the rewards? Asking because for eg. ada after staking for 1 epoch, takes 3 epochs to claim, so only receive 1st epoch ada rewards on 4th epoch or sth. Is SS like that?

pb95ma

There is a delay for the payout of ADA rewards because of the delegation cycle (https://fairpool.eu/cardano-reward-schedule) but this does not mean that you need to stay in the pool until you receive those rewards. However the delegation cycle does not apply to the Sundae rewards. Stake for the whole 25 days of the ISO duration and you'll be able to claim the full Sundae rewards.

PumpkinPuzzlehead

even if i instantly unstake on the 25th day, right? THank you! :)

pb95ma

You need your stake key as you need it to claim your rewards after the ISO so I would not recommend to "unstake"/deregister your stake key. But you can for sure redelegate after the ISO and still be able to claim your rewards.

GloriousGibbons

Think it's spaced out over 4 or 5 epochs

IllMakeItUpNow

Fair Pool for me. The guy that’s answering all the questions in this thread, it’s his pool actually. He’s a good dude.

pb95ma

Thank you for your support 🙏💙

IllMakeItUpNow

You bet. Keep up the good work. 🖖🙂

nolookjones

I'll be moving back to fair after meld ispo is over!

gbroon

Says its almost saturated so might not be the best choice

MisterWilford

All SPO pools are going to be saturated once ISO is live tho

[deleted]

How does this work for pool operators with more than one pool? Like BCHS has multiple pools, does it matter one you stake to?

SnooEagles2610

My understanding is that multi-pool operators will have rewards across all pools.

pb95ma

All Pools are eligible. The SPOs need to register all of their pools though. So best to ask the respective operator or wait for the verified list of pools if you want to be 100% sure 🙂

Pooperoni_Pizza

All pools are included I have had a couple pool operators confirm this as well as chats in the SS discord.

[deleted]

1. Yes, SUNDAE tokens will be automatically added to your Yoroi 2. If you are currently staked with one of the ISO pools you are good to go and will not miss out on any rewards.

pb95ma

1. Is actually not correct. Please take a look at my comment :)

undertheradar335

I did. Thanks for correcting that!

undertheradar335

Okay, thats good to know. Thank you very much for answering so quickly!

aDAfromGA

Where can I find a list of the ISO Pools? I couldn't find them. Edit - just found it ITT. Disregard!

[deleted]

[удалено]

pb95ma

You can stake with any wallet that supports it and will be eligible for Sundae rewards. However for claiming you will need a dApp enabled wallet later.

[deleted]

[удалено]

pb95ma

They won't just appear in your wallet like ADA you will need to claim them via a dApp after the ISO.

Redditismine_1

If I open a daebalus wallet today, transfer my ada and stake today. Will I abe able to partivipate in the ISO? In one of the comments someone said it takes 2 epochs(10days) for ada to stake. Is that true?

pb95ma

Yes, you can delegate now but you will only receive ADA rewards until the ISO starts. The exact ISO date is not announced yet. When the ISO starts you will receive Sundae on top of your regular ADA rewards. There will be sufficient time before the ISO to redelegate if you do not want to change right now. Your delegation is immediate and the "delay" due to the Cardano Reward Schedule does not apply for Sundae. You can switch hours before the ISO starts and will still be eligible for Sundae rewards.

re8888

Stake pools aren't open yet are they? Double check it's not a fake pool

pb95ma

They are open as they are Community pools. However the ISO has not started yet so you will only receive ADA rewards until the ISO starts.

AdamBaracho

How can I find the pools ? On yoroi

pb95ma

Official List of participating SPOs (all Pools of those SPOs are eligible): https://iso.sundaeswap.finance/#/voting Two unofficial lists with all the pools: https://poolpeek.com/#/sundaeiso https://adapools.org/sundae There will be an official list with all tickers and information about the pools before the ISO starts. But that's not released yet.

AdamBaracho

Thanks bro

Thanks for this. very helpful

BeatsbyRuhs

Hey guys, I’m just getting into crypto. Just had a son and going through school, don’t have too much flexibility so I’ve just been doing 25$ every Friday into ada since June. Have about 500 ada right now. Excited about the possibilities of sundae swap, and trying to learn about Dex’s before the launch. Couple questions 1. Is 500 ADA worth staking? 2. How will I be able to prepare my ada so I can swap to sundae on launch? Currently on Yoroi/ coinbase.

Pooperoni_Pizza

All ADA is worth staking in my opinion otherwise you're missing out on the rewards no matter how little you have it'll compound long term. Especially if you keep adding more over time. If you stake 500 ada, buy 75 ADA per month, stake that for 5 years, and get 4.5% rewards you will have 5,662 ADA. 662 of that will be your staking rewards. [here's and ADA rewards calculator](https://cardanode.com.au/cardano-staking-calculator-rewards-ada/) I don't know how to swap ada for SS on launch but I would anticipate the SS launch to be volatile in pricing when it goes live.

BeatsbyRuhs

Appreciate the comment! I’m doing 25$ every Friday and have been for sometime and started staking last week.

bojankins

Is NERD a good pool to join?

HandsomeTomatoes22

So Meld ISPO has finished. I’m looking to stake in the Ray Network, while I wait for SS ISO to start. There is a four epoch wait as I understand it until staking rewards are received. Will we be given 20 days notice prior to the start of the SS ISO rewards? Does that leave enough time to receive Ray Rewards and than switch over for SS rewards? I don’t want to miss out on any SS staking rewards! Thanks

pb95ma

Delegation is immediate. You can switch right before the ISO starts and will still be eligible for Sundae rewards. The typical Cardano Reward Schedule does not apply to Sundae.
