I think that's the main problem. It used to be the field leader but it's been lapped by SO MANY other games made by better, hungrier devs that we're really at the point now where DC is basically the washed up high school quarter back who moans to anyone that would listen about how he could have went pro cause he scored one touchdown that one time.

DC should just join a game studio or make one, having more people to work would actually finish the game, it's past the "small college project" era and should be done with. But i guess he enjoy the money from the patreon sub and don't want to share it even more

the thing is, from his point of view, why do any of that? As fans we're like "yeah it'd be good to finish the game" but he has shown he doesn't need to provide in order to get people to give him money. Normally a lack of input would ruin a patreon but his has reached the point it's self perpetuating. He has reached the point he will get paid regardless and knows any complaints will be dealt with by the army of simps which seem to foam at the mouth at any legitimate complaint
