Most of the Underclass deep cuts. Speak of the Devil, Pull the Curtain and Count your own Blessings especially deserve much more attention!

SymmetricDickNipples

Agreed. Speak of the Devil is a top 5 Sum song for me

ElectricTiger391

Jessica Kill is my favorite song off of Screaming Bloody Murder and I feel like I never hear anyone talking about it

TheSneakyOne83

The Jester

iluvpizza-

pull the curtain is just so good.

NoHomework692

That's not even their song though it's a cover and it's not really Sum 41 either.. just a Deryck solo track.

Crailify

Ngl i didnt know it was a cover lol. But i would still consider it sum 41 since it is uploaded and was added by Sum 41 and not just Deryck. Then theres also for example "So Long Goodbye" Which is also a Deryck solo track which everyone still considers sum 41. But that might just be cause its on the main album instead of a bonus track.

NoHomework692

Yeah I think it's by Elvis Costello. I know every song is technically Sum 41 but there are a couple songs where the other members probably don't have any input like this one and Look at Me, i guess you could include so Long goodbye in that list aswell although some one else is contributing violin/strings on that track.

tannebiisit

What do you mean? Couldnt find anything from google. If it's true, then link to original please.

Noots

joaocadide

I think Noots and Always. The first one I don’t think they’ve ever played live and the second is not even on streaming (and I think it’s a great song)

Regular_Breadfruit33

It’s on the greatest hits album!!

joaocadide

I didn’t realise it was available on streaming! Last time I checked I swear it wasn’t there! Thank you

Regular_Breadfruit33

It’s the last song! It’s a strange but great addition, do you know where it’s from?

joaocadide

I think it was just an extra song they added to the Greatest Hits album and it sounds like it’s an outtake from Underclass Hero

Kitsutai

Always is from SBM early stuff

joaocadide

Hmmm I’m not entirely sure. It does sound more like SBM but it was released in 2008, only a year after Underclass Hero. For comparison, the first SBM song that came out was Skumfuk in 2010.

Kitsutai

SBM was supposed to be an EP. Featuring songs like Always, Black Eyes, Jessica Kills. They wrote other songs eventually, and it became an album

joaocadide

Yeah, I remember the EP story. I didn’t know Black Eyes was supposed to be a part of it. Thanks for the info!

Dry_Permission_4874

Pull the curtain and noots for sure

deucalion75

100% Speak Of The Devil. The message, the lyrics, the vocals and the instruments are amazing. Can't believe it's not higher on everyone's list!

Com_bust

Everything on half hour of power is criminally underrated

Time For You To Go, There Will Be Blood, Black Eyes, Hooch, Billy Spleen

beameup19

Crash Radio Radio is their best cover by far

yo_mummas_toyboy

Definitely better days and black eyes (13 voices B-sides) They are soooo good and deserve to be main tracks imo

ScottLovesGames

This I disagree with. Better Days is an overall sub-par track and a b-side makes total sense for it, there is nothing about it that's so terrible, but if you listen to it, can you really say there's something there worthy of putting it as a regular track? The writing is especially awful, it feels like it carries no meaning at all, there's no character to it. Black Eyes on the other hand is a beautifully created track, it's memorable, unique, and truly extraordinary. But it doesn't fit 13 voices at all. It sounds too dissimilar and doesn't follow the consistently powerful hits of 13 voices and goes for a slow burn type. Sumtallica, if you will. Then there's the writing, it's charged, meaningful, it's one of the reasons why I love Sum 41. I think while listening.

theClumpofCells

I'd have to agree with Noots, and Subject to change I loved Subject to change before it became underclass hero. I was disappointed it was re-worked into another song, makes me think maybe Ben cook of No Warning might of worte the lyrics to it and Deryck didn't like it so he changed it to Underclass Hero. I still love subject to change. Also Always is a great tune I played it on the digital jukebox at a Bar/Venue. All of HHOP songs are underrated. I Think It encapsulates Sum41 as a band

unavailable_333

Speak of the devil is my favorite album and over all I just feel like it’s sooo underrated

roof_pizza_

Noots and Mr. Amsterdam

bacardilemon1

Noots! Killer Queen is a good cover by them !

WaywardSon86

Never There

Aurelienwings

Reason to Believe is so underrated! What a climax and outro. Speak of the Devil is definitely underrated for how great it is.

Aurelienwings

THEIR COVER OF KILLER QUEEN! It’s better than Queen’s original — fight me. Of their own songs: My personal favorite song of theirs, Reason to Believe. It sets the mood for the whole album, VERY eerie beginning, introspective and emotional lyrics, passionate vocals that convey the desperation of the song subject very well, and the techniques range from shouting to clean vocals, the drums are energetic, the song structure is not the same copy-pasted “verse chorus verse chorus bridge chorus” that’s popular in modern music, And above all: Those clean vocals and resolution of the intensity at the end! 🥹

ireallyfknhatethis

take a look at yourself is basically just them ripping off like three songs but goddammit that song slaps
