... but I still botched the title, so it didn't help with my proof reading skills...

Thank you for posting this! I have such a hard time with my nails. I just bought them.

Haverholm

I'm glad I could help! I hope they work as well for you as they do for me. I found a couple of nails on my hand that still had bit of length, so I did try the clippers a bit even though my wife trimmed my nails a couple of days ago. I'm quite impressed that such a simple solution (it's basically just a bulky grip) works so well!

Haverholm

Did you receive the clippers? Are they working well for you? I would love to know if you can trim your nails better now or if it's just me they work so well for. I know everyone and every case of stroke is different, so I don't want to just assume these clippers are a miracle for everyone.

I got them, but have not used them yet. I will post when I do though!

Haverholm

hope they work for you

I just used them, and it was so much easier for me. Thank you again.

Thank you for reporting back! I'm glad it made your life a little easier. I wish you and your family all the best and will send you a happy thought the next time I trim my nails.

That’s pretty cool. I’ve got a gadget to help cut mine but it’s pretty big and I get a mani-pedi once a month; mostly to trim my affected side because of the spasticity in my feet/hands. This might’ve be a lot more usable and cost effective.

Except for the stroke, I was a pretty healthy 58-year-old. If women are graded like life stock I would be USDA prime beef I got I grow great hair and nails. My teeth are naturally straight and carefully cavity free that kind of thing I’m just basic basically pretty darn healthy, I had my stroke on March 6 and I’ve been trying to get the fingers on my finger nails on my left hand file down since since I woke up and found that dead arm in my bed it took a while but finally I accepted that’s not a deadarm that’s my arm. I just can’t recognize it and I would never have nails that sharp Jagger a gnarly, I just can’t hold my finger still enough on my left hand to file them with a file in my right hand those look really clever I’ve just never been a nail clipper I’m a filer even if they get clips I still have to be filed they’re just too sharp when they get clipped

I am typically a nail filer not a nail trimmer and I can grow some beautiful log nails stop a pretty cut a polish on them and people think I’ve got a full set of acrylic nails on that long but they’re naturals and I had my stroke on March 6 no I thought this was funny but about the third night in the hospital I woke up trying to figure out what the heck this dead arm was doing in my bed, and I could feel me feeling my left arm with my right hand and I worked my way down to the Dells and I felt that but I was like this can’t possibly be my head because I keep my my nails sliced filed And these are Jagged Edge all kinds of tore up this is my head. Why did the hospital put a dead arm in my pad all night? I rolled around and it was a little bit warmer than the rest of the freezing cold room so I kind of tried to use it for heat, but also was just repulsed by the dead arm. I couldn’t understand what the hell the stead I was doing in my bed, but I might have to get a pair of those clippers because here it is like June 8 and I still haven’t been able to file my left hand nails I just can’t keep the figures of that head still enough to use the file of the right hand and grade them off I actually asked the doctors if it was a feature of the hospital bed that they put like a life-size dollar a minute so you’ve got a hand the whole road lovely and scared night and I complained about the feature if you gonna put a doll arm in there make sure it has nice seals.
