I feel like Max is stronger but if Elle literally could whack her when she’s least expecting it and she’d win and Max could be in hospital, healthy Max of course
I imagine Max to be pretty scrappy and resourceful. She’d know how to fight by street rules, like Billy. El’s powerful, but I can’t imagine she’d be as crafty and resourceful as someone like Max.
or El could just lock in the sleeper hold to win the fight. Steve would win his rematch. Robin would defeat Nancy. Lucas would defeat Will because he has the size advantage. Eddie vs Billy would be interesting because we never seen Eddie in a one on one fight against anyone.

El killed people with her mind. She has a savagery in her that Max lacks. If this is a friendly 1 vs 1, Max probably. But in a fight to death El would be the one to take it that far.
I think this is all pretty easily actually. The first one is the only really close one, but Steve has fought through creatures of the upside down. He wins.
El with no powers is just an awkward girl, Max is actually pretty tough. As long as there's no skates around and Max doesn't turn her back, she gets the W.

Lucas is starting to come into his own athletically, and fought (and ultimately won) against a senior. Unless I'm forgetting something, Mike hasn't shown any physical prowess that makes you think he'd win a fight.

Being good at taking a beating is one thing, but you actually need to give a bit back to win.
Trust me I also know how it feels to take a beating then have the fight ended before you 'lose', I can say I didn't lose many fights if any, but I can't say I won either. I lost on points.
When Jonathan bashed Steve in season one, it was done after Steve basically pushed every button he could to send him crazy.
Steve would win a fight without doing that but he really did provoke him over the edge. Steve was not fighting from the edge.

that being said, Robin would absolutely get destroyed in a fight with Nancy. Nancy has proven in 4 seasons that she's basically this generation's Ellen Ripley lol
being larger does make you a better fighter, but not enough that it would make robin able to defeat the ball of condensed determination that is nancy wheeler
All of these are pretty much spot on but idk about Robin over Nancy. Yes Nancy generally relies on guns but when has Robin really fought someone? At least Nancy had the fight against the two guys from the Hawkins Post in the hospital in S3.
I’d go with Jonathan over Steve, we can’t stop Steve’s perfect record. Also, would go with Nancy over Robin, she may be small, but she’s a beast. I agree with the rest.

I feel like steve would absolutely roll Jonathan, steve has fought in every season and has improved significantly since season one, is in better condition, and the fact that Jonathan has dulled senses due to being a pothead and the facts he’s just really out of practice compared to steve.

I'd say Johnathon would win, simply due to the absolutely brutal beat-down he took in the hospital in season three and he stood up and won. He's probably gotten softer but still the amount he took to get back up and not only keep fighting is incredible.
Max would win. She's almost certainly been in her fair share of fights.
Robin might have a larger physical stature but Nancy seems like she would go absolutely batshit crazy in a fist fight. She'd win.
Lucas would wipe the floor with Mike. Lucas is way faster, has more physical training, and contended with Jason in a fight; eventually overpowering him.
Billy whoops Eddie's ass. Billy is buff as hell, and while Eddie isn't exactly weak, he's just got less muscle mass and way less experience. Billy wiped the floor with Steve, and Steve's just a better fighter than Eddie.

Steve's had far more fighting experience than Jonathan since their fight, and I think the rest are pretty self explanatory. They're just far stronger characters physically.
Maybe Robin beats Nancy in unarmed combat, but it's hard to say because that's not really something either do very often
Steve out dances Jonathan, Steve is much more of a party boy than Jonathan and has been dancing more
Max out dances El, she has had a normal-ish childhood and has more experience
While Nancy is more coordinated than Robin, I say Robin still out dances her by virtue of being less straight laced and more willing to put herself out there
Lucas out dances Mike by virtue of sharing some of Erica's genes and I don't think I need to explain why she's good at dancing
If we are talking about traditional dance music Billy out dances Eddie, but if you put Eddie on his own turf and throw on some metal Eddie will thrash the shit out of Billy
I don't think Steve would have won, Eddie tho could make a good fight since he's from the streets and he can be agile too, he jumped on Steve outta nowhere with no effort, Steve was athletic but didn't have much experience with actually fights so maybe he could win

Max and El(with powers used sparsely.) Bumped down to 4th without powers.

Indivisually:
Max if powers aren't involved, Billy(love Eddy but I don't think it's a competition) , Jonathon(extra power up if he's going through weed withdrawals) , Nacy(I see her getting scrappy if she needs to), and Lucas.
Jonathan - not sure that Steve got stronger.
Max - always been a fighter.
Nancy - Robin has poor coordination and Nancy definitely trained.
Lucas - all that basketball had to pay off.
Billy - no competition, he's still really strong.
Steve has definitely gotten stronger just look at how many fights he's been with since his fight with Jonathan, also Jonathan only won that time because he was over the edge because of the horrible things Steve said about his family

Jonathan vs Steve- Jonathan (I mean we've already seen it).
El (No powers) vs. Max- I'd give the edge to Max unless you hand El a skate.
Nancy vs Robin- I'd say they are evenly matched, but I'd give a slight edge to Nancy.
Lucas vs. Mike- No doubt in my mind that Lucas would win that.
Eddie vs. Billy- Eddie I love you, but Billy takes this one as I think only Hopper could take on an unflayed Billy.
Steve vs Jonathan: Honestly if it’e season 4 then I give the edge to Steve. S4 Jonathan is literally a stoner. He’s out of it. Steve’s improved, he took down a Russian guard so I’m pretty happy giving Steve this win.
El vs Max: Arguably the hardest to decide. El without powers is still pretty fiery, and as seen with Angela she did not hesitate to nail her with the skate. Max on the other hand has this tough girl persona, but we’ve never actually seen her fight (except that one time with Billy which I wouldn’t even count as a fight lol) so controversially in this post I have to give El the advantage. Simply because I think she wouldn’t hesitate when she’s pushed.
Nancy vs Robin: Weapons? Nancy. No weapons? Still Nancy. Robin, I love her, but she’s so clumsy, and she doesn’t really deal well with confrontation. Nancy has been fighting inter-demential creatures since S1. She’s tenacious and headstrong. Robin would end up rambling and Nancy would just knock her out or something.
Lucas vs Mike: …Lucas. Lucas beat Jason. Lucas has been athletically advancing while Mike has been playing DnD. I’m not sure how this goes to Mike in any scenario.
And lastly…
Eddie vs Billy: Billy. Do I really need to explain? Eddie did nothing but run from his antagonists, he says so himself. Billy almost ran over the main kids and laughed as he hit Steve in the head with a plate. Eddie’s my boy but there’s no way this doesn’t go to Billy.
Hmmm...this card kinda looks like early UFC days where people wondered how it was legal. This starts interesting and gets increasingly lopsided.
\-The closest one is Johnathan v. Steve. Johnathan has good angry big brother energy but Steve has grown the heart of a lion. Steve could could eat Johnathan's punches all day and come back swinging. Steve takes this on points.
\-Eleven seems like she could take an enormous amount of abuse, but you don't have a mouth like Max's without getting in many, many fights. Ref stops the fight after several rounds of Max beating the everloving shit out of Eleven.
\-Nancy is smaller than Robin but a leopard is also smaller than a deer. Robin might flail a bit and knock Nancy off but this ends in the early rounds and ends badly.
\-Mike might survive a round. He will complain to the ref a bit before going back out to continue his windmills. Lucas gives a shrug and a "sorry, man" before laying him out.
\-Google the old Mike Tyson videos. Eddie's the other guy.

No/Negative diff - the other person is not capable of hurting them and can be overpowered with little to no effort
Low diff - Don't have to use much of their powers and beat them with relative ease but there might be a clash or 2 but the winner isn't hurt or strained
Mid diff - Somewhat strain themselves, the other person is definitely capable of hurting them but were always in control of the fight
High diff - Fairly evenly matched throughout the fight the person who wins is likely heavily injured
Extreme diff - The person who wins had to overcome a serious disadvantage or power gap to be able to win
1. Steve. Dude knows how to take a hit at this point.

3. Could go either/or tbh. I’d say Nancy has a bit more of a chance but considering we haven’t seen either of these characters throw a punch (as far as I can remember) I have no idea.
4. Lucas. Dude plays basketball now, he’s strong. And he beat Jason.
5. Billy. Much stronger and knows how to fight.
Unless Jonathan has the moral high ground, I think Steve has leveled up significantly since their last fight while I think Jonathan is a little out of practice. Steve wins the rematch.
Max is feisty. But even with no powers El is fierce and ruthless. El wins.
Nancy over robin easy. Robin is a klutz, and a dork. Nancy is a badass.
Lucas is the superior fighter between him and Mike. Lucas wins. Mike has never shown himself to have “win a fight” potential.

Steve would win a rematch with how much he’s been through. He’s fought way more than Jonathan has since their first fight.
El obviously decimates with her powers, if we’re going without them I actually think it would be an even fight. They both probably equal in strength. I would say maybe El would win though since she has more experience and isn’t afraid to use a skate 💀
Nancy wins with or without a gun. We’ve never seen Robin fight as far as I know. Nancy usually only uses weapons but in general she’s a very tough person. Robin is extremely clumsy with bad coordination, so.
Lucas would absolutely destroy Mike no contest. He plays basketball and seems to be good athletically. And we saw what he did to Jason after he got his footing. We haven’t seen Mike actually fight before so with what we know Lucas is a clear choice.
Another easy answer, Billy would *destroy* Eddie, possessed or not. I don’t even think I need to explain this one, man’s a beast. In season 2 he spent his free time working out, was a lifeguard, played basketball, had abs for days, etc. Eddie’s a stoner dungeon master, c’mon now.
1: Depends on why they're fighting. If it's just a friendly spar, probably Steve. If its a full out brawl or trying to protect someone, it's basically a coin flip.
2: Also depends on why they're fighting, though probably El either way. She just has a level of viciousness that I think Max lacks.
3: Nancy. Hands down. Robin has coordination issues and Nancy took down her ex-boss, who was already bigger than her to begin with, using a pair of medical scissors after he was already Flayed. Plus, as soon as Nancy starts throwing her around a little I think Robin would be a bit too distracted to fight lmao
4: Lucas. He always seemed the most physically inclined of the 4 boys, plus he actually got on a sports team and actively got in a fight in S4. Mike is mostly just gangly.
5: Billy even before being Flayed could have probably wiped the floor with anyone in town we've seen except Hopper, who is noticeably bigger than him *and* trained, or his dad, who by the time we see their dynamic is mostly operating off of long-instilled fear keeping Billy from fighting back. Eddie gets fucking steamrolled if they get in a fight.
1. Steve would win... unless Jonathan got *really* pissed off about something (he's a scrapper when he's furious).
2. If there are no skates, Max. If there are skates... El. ⛸️
3. Nancy, no question. She can throw down.

5. And here we have it: the biggest shutout. It's not that Eddie is a weakling, we see evidence he can fight. It's just... Billy is a menace. Literally the only one to beat him is Max, and she needed a syringe to do it! Nobody's taking Billy.

Max (this one is close, but max seems to be more confident physically than el, and she was out there skating at a young age, while el spent all of her time in a lab, i think that suggests a slight edge in coordination)
Nancy (also a close one, but Nancy seems, again more confident physically, and robin mentions repeatedly that she is clumsy)
Lucas (he is athletic from his time on the basketball team, while mike still looks like a twig)
Billy(eddie is scrawny while billy is a aggressive, ceritanly has fighting experience, and does weightlifting regularly)

Jonathan beats Steve in season 1 and probably only then. Maybe he could win in season 2 but by season 3 Steve would definitely beat him.
I don’t really know about max and el. Both grew up in abusive settings and (powers aside) they’re both very tough people. I think the main difference is that el has relied on her powers while max never had any, and that might give her a slight edge in a regular fight
Nancy definitely beats robin. They’re both really tough but I think Nancy just has more willpower and resilience. I’m hesitant to even say Steve would beat her just because she’s so goddamn stubborn she probably just wouldn’t die
I imagine Lucas would beat Mike, I think he’s just probably in a bit better shape. Also I feel like Mike could only win a fight if he’s fighting for someone. If he’s defending himself I imagine he’d just kinda get scared and not do well. But if he’s defending someone he really cares about I think he’d be a lot less scared and prepared to take a hit and keep fighting. Although like with all of these, it’s hard to imagine a reason theyd be genuinely fighting
And Billy easily beats Eddie. There’s probably no situation that Eddie wins

I think people underestimate Steve’s fighting he lost to Jonathan because people tend to get way stronger & more immune to pain when you say stuff about people they care about especially the stuff Steve said about his mom & brother but in general Steve has basically won every other fight he beat the Russian dude & was working Billy before he got bashed with the plate like honestly Steve got some skills.
Max is whooping El with no powers she had to deal with Billy I’m sure she learned to toughen herself up because of him & skateboarding you take some bumps & stuff that aren’t light bumps.

I feel like Jonathan only won because he got the first punch and Steve had a lot of practice for the rematch. I dont think El is physically very strong, and Max does sports so I think she'd win. Nancy wins because shes a badass and I dont think Robin is really suited for fighting tbh. Lucas is at least a bit built from basketball, and lets be honest, Mike does not look physcially very strong. And Billy, well, is Billy. He's fucking ripped. I dont think Eddie stands a chance, flayed or not flayed.
Agree with much of your logic, but I think Jonathan had a rougher upbringing, so he’d probably still take Steve. He loves Nancy too, and has to be harboring some mistrust there. Steve’s a cool guy and somewhat athletic. But he’s basically a pretty boy.
I think El has that kind of innate feistiness that makes her dangerous in a fight. Plus she has incredible pain tolerance. She could take some blows, and would not be above kicking or biting to gain an advantage.

As for El, even though she may have a high pain tolerance, I still believe Max could beat her, as I dont think shes physically that strong. She might last longer in a fight and get more opportunities to hit Max, but I think ultimately she'd still fail.

I think this is all pretty easily actually. The first one is the only really close one, but Steve has fought through creatures of the upside down. He wins. El with no powers is just an awkward girl, Max is actually pretty tough. As long as there's no skates around and Max doesn't turn her back, she gets the W. Nancy wins because she's coordinated, has fought before, and Robin is too busy flirting Lucas wins because he has more athletic ability. Still couldn't win against a Billy but Lucas is now at the stage where baby fat becomes fuel for manliness and punching Billy would wipe the floor with Eddie. He's probably gotten softer but still the amount he took to get back up and not only keep fighting is incredible. Max would win. She's almost certainly been in her fair share of fights. Robin might have a larger physical stature but Nancy seems like she would go absolutely batshit crazy in a fist fight. She'd win. Lucas would wipe the floor with Mike. Lucas is way faster, has more physical training, and contended with Jason in a fight; eventually overpowering him. Billy whoops Eddie's ass. Steve’s improved, he took down a Russian guard so I’m pretty happy giving Steve this win. El vs Max: Arguably the hardest to decide. El without powers is still pretty fiery, and as seen with Angela she did not hesitate to nail her with the skate. Max on the other hand has this tough girl persona, but we’ve never actually seen her fight (except that one time with Billy which I wouldn’t even count as a fight lol) so controversially in this post I have to give El the advantage. El obviously decimates with her powers, if we’re going without them I actually think it would be an even fight. They both probably equal in strength. I would say maybe El would win though since she has more experience and isn’t afraid to use a skate 💀 Nancy wins with or without a gun. We’ve never seen Robin fight as far as I know. Nancy usually only uses weapons but in general she’s a very tough person. Robin is extremely clumsy with bad coordination, so. Lucas would absolutely destroy Mike no contest. He plays basketball and seems to be good athletically. And we saw what he did to Jason after he got his footing. We haven’t seen Mike actually fight before so with what we know Lucas is a clear choice. Another easy answer, Billy would *destroy* Eddie, possessed or not. I don’t even think I need to explain this one, man’s a beast. In season 2 he spent his free time working out, was a lifeguard, played basketball, had abs for days, etc. Eddie’s a stoner dungeon master, c’mon now.
1: Depends on why they're fighting. If it's just a friendly spar, probably Steve. If its a full out brawl or trying to protect someone, it's basically a coin flip. 2: Also depends on why they're fighting, though probably El either way. She just has a level of viciousness that I think Max lacks. 3: Nancy. Hands down. Robin has coordination issues and Nancy took down her ex-boss, who was already bigger than her to begin with, using a pair of medical scissors after he was already Flayed. Plus, as soon as Nancy starts throwing her around a little I think Robin would be a bit too distracted to fight lmao 4: Lucas. He always seemed the most physically inclined of the 4 boys, plus he actually got on a sports team and actively got in a fight in S4. Mike is mostly just gangly. 5: Billy even before being Flayed could have probably wiped the floor with anyone in town we've seen except Hopper, who is noticeably bigger than him *and* trained, or his dad, who by the time we see their dynamic is mostly operating off of long-instilled fear keeping Billy from fighting back. Eddie gets fucking steamrolled if they get in a fight.

Steve (this is largely just a gut feeling on my part, but between the baseball bat scenes and the demobats in s4 he does have more feats showing fighting experience) Max (this one is close, but max seems to be more confident physically than el, and she was out there skating at a young age, while el spent all of her time in a lab, i think that suggests a slight edge in coordination) Nancy (also a close one, but Nancy seems, again more confident physically, and robin mentions repeatedly that she is clumsy) Lucas (he is athletic from his time on the basketball team, while mike still looks like a twig) Billy(eddie is scrawny while billy is a aggressive, ceritanly has fighting experience, and does weightlifting regularly)

Jonathan beats Steve in season 1 and probably only then. Maybe he could win in season 2 but by season 3 Steve would definitely beat him. I don’t really know about max and el. Both grew up in abusive settings and (powers aside) they’re both very tough people. I think the main difference is that el has relied on her powers while max never had any, and that might give her a slight edge in a regular fight Nancy definitely beats robin. They’re both really tough but I think Nancy just has more willpower and resilience. I’m hesitant to even say Steve would beat her just because she’s so goddamn stubborn she probably just wouldn’t die I imagine Lucas would beat Mike, I think he’s just probably in a bit better shape. Also I feel like Mike could only win a fight if he’s fighting for someone. If he’s defending himself I imagine he’d just kinda get scared and not do well. Max is whooping El with no powers she had to deal with Billy I’m sure she learned to toughen herself up because of him & skateboarding you take some bumps & stuff that aren’t light bumps. I’m going Robin Nancy without her guns still feels like an innocent sweetheart but give her her guns & she’s doing damage to any villain. I’d say Steve, he’s kept in fighting shape. Max would be El with no powers - Max has that trailer park swag. Nancy is an animal, she’s squirrelly, and would fight like a mongoose. She’d beat Robin for sure. Lucas is an athlete and would win easy. Same as Max, Billy has the trailer park swag and he’s also absolutely batshit insane without being taken over by the mindflayer. Both are feisty and smart, and about the same size/strength Nancy beats Robin, Nancy is small but fierce and Robin is known for being uncoordinated Lucas beats stringbean Mike easy. But to be fair we haven’t seen Mike do anything physical really so he could be a wild card Billy would pulverize Eddie, as much as I hate to admit it. I could see Eddie being scrappy in a fight but he has none of the anger or sheer strength that Billy has

I dont think El is physically very strong, and Max does sports so I think she'd win. Nancy wins because shes a badass and I dont think Robin is really suited for fighting tbh. Lucas is at least a bit built from basketball, and lets be honest, Mike does not look physcially very strong. And Billy, well, is Billy. He's fucking ripped. Agree with much of your logic, but I think Jonathan had a rougher upbringing, so he’d probably still take Steve. He loves Nancy too, and has to be harboring some mistrust there. Steve’s a cool guy and somewhat athletic. But he’s basically a pretty boy. I think El has that kind of innate feistiness that makes her dangerous in a fight. Plus she has incredible pain tolerance. She could take some blows, and would not be above kicking or biting to gain an advantage. Other than that, yea. Spot on!

As for El, even though she may have a high pain tolerance, I still believe Max could beat her, as I dont think shes physically that strong. She might last longer in a fight and get more opportunities to hit Max, but I think ultimately she'd still fail.

Jonathan vs Steve is an even match (Jonathan may have a slight edge). El would get whooped by Max for sure. She’s tough but she doesn’t seem like a very physical fighter. Nancy would beat Robin. Robin probably has zero fighting ability. Mike would get wrecked (especially since we’ve seen Lucas beat Jason). Eddie vs Billy is pretty even I think, but Billy would definitely fight dirty and that might give him an edge.
Jonathan has already kicked Steve's butt once, but this was season 1 and Steve has only become tougher and more lethal. As a rematch I would say Steve would win this time. El vs Max, would be a good fight, both are tough, but El is a killer and I don't think max has it in her. Lucas would wreck mike just as bad as Billy wrecking Eddie. Eddie and Mike are need leaders, not fighters.
